  • Finally a replacement for the Swift R3. Finally a replacement for the Swift R3.
Size: 13 Color: Black/Carbon/Pure Teal
I enjoyed 3 pairs of Swift R3s and they were my favorite daily driver shoes I've ever owned. I tend to get bad planar fascitis with shoes that don't have stiff soles and high arch support and the Swift R3 was great in both categories. The Skychaser AX5 GTX took everything I loved about the Swift R3 GTX and improved upon them. The Swifts were a bit narrower and took a while to break in whereas the the Skychasers are just a hair more roomy and are great right out of the box for my feet. I have a foot that's in between D and EE width so some shoes I need wide sizes and some I'm good with the standard width. I would say if you have an extra-wide foot these will likely be uncomfortable but if you have a standard D width up to a medium-wide foot these will be excellent. The Skychasers also seem to have a bit more midsole cushion/shock absorbing capability. The Continental outsoles are excellent and grip very well. In my past experiences with Terrex shoes I always wear out the soles before the uppers. The quality and durability of the uppers are better than any trail/running shoe I've owned. These are still running mostly full price but I don't know of another GTX sneaker of this quality, this cheap, at MSRP. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Fit was good
Size: 11 Color: Black/Black/Carbon
some people said there too small, I wear like a 10 but I get 11 because my toes get crushed. Im using these doing hvac work and they seem to be handling the work good, water proof with the gore tex works good so far. Maybe not the most comfortable shoes i have worn out of the box but im not going to take away any stars as they work good. price was good for gore tex. Little slick on a metal roof but most shoes are. I would purchase them again at this time. prob only had about 2 weeks max. ... show more

  • Very tight fit. Eyelet broke instantly. Very tight fit. Eyelet broke instantly.
Size: 10.5 Color: Grey/Silver Metallic/Semi Impact Orange
I love the look of these shoes but beware, the sizing is tight. I normally wear a 9.5-10 depending on brand etc, I had to order these 3 times to settle on a 10.5 and they fit but I still fell like they are a little too snug and think that maybe an 11 would fit better. Also, the 3rd pear that came, I was putting them on for the first time and the eyelet for the laces on the right foot broke when I tried to pull the laces back tight. Now I'm waiting on the FOURTH pair in trying to purchase a new pair of shoes on Amazon. ... show more

  • Runs small
Size: 11 Color: Grey/Silver Metallic/Semi Impact Orange
Too tight. I wear size 11 in most shoes including Adidas and these are too small. I quit wearing them, can’t return them and should donate them. I guess I am waiting for my feet to shrink. Size chart doesn’t help because it just shows euro sizes.

  • Comfortable, seriously waterproof.
Size: 15 Color: Black/Carbon/Pure Teal
I love these shoes! They look great, lightweight have good grip on most terrains. The shoes are extremely comfortable and well padded. The size was spot on. It has only gotten down into the 30s f but my feet have stayed warm. The waterproof is for real on these. I stay dry even out in seattle rain for hours. They dont squeek like other brands on polished floors. Very good feel and build quality. I think these are a good value under $100 ... show more

  • Get the Terrex Swift instead if you can find them
Size: 8.5 Color: Grey/Silver Metallic/Semi Impact Orange
I use these for disc golf because I couldn't find a good pair of Terrex Swift Gore-Tex. They're okay; I definitely prefer the Swifts. These are sloppy in the heel. The tongue has good cushion, but is a bit fat. They're comfortable for all-day wear though, and so far they've kept my feet dry.
