I work out every other day, and gloves really help avoid skin related abrasions while also eliminating small amounts of discomfort gripping some of the metal knurled handles. I've tried several brands and find these to be about the best to satisfy the desired improvements without being bulky and getting in the way. That being said, these gloves deteriorate rapidly. And the deterioration is everywhere, the padding wears completely through, the thumb rips open, etc. On average, I need to replace them at least once per month. After 15 workouts, they are consistently at the point of complete failure. I've tried the big name gloves, and they just don't compare. However they are far more durable. The functional advantages of these gloves keeps me buying them over and over again. Incidentally, the size large is perfect for my hands, though my hands are on the small size. I suspect that the sizing is based on ladies sizes. If you are male, I would suggest go at least one and probably two sizes bigger than you would expect.

I like to have a pair that is washing and another pair that I am using for the next few days. It is important to wash them! Just dump them in the washer with the rest of your black gym clothes or wash them by hand to avoid any skin diseases. I like to use them to not mess up my hands at the gym and because I also get the ick touching the same equipment as everyone else at the gym even though I clean before and after (I guess it is just me!) Anyways, I love this as an alternative to do any weight or equipment workout with peace of mind. The quality is great in regards to grip and durability. I also have used them for crutches multiple times throughout my life and they really help with the cushion and irritation.

I am not a heavy weight-lifter, but I am fairly consistent. I needed to replace my gloves with some that were easy on/off and were big enough to fit my extra-large hands. These attractive adidas fit the bill. They have a loop between the third and fourth fingers that make taking them off a breeze (even when a bit sweaty). The fastener doesn't pick up lint the way some older hook & loop fasteners do, so they still work and look good after weeks of use. That said, the seams have torn after a few months of use. They also are a little light on padding in the palms, so they don't really help with "gym hands" as much as I would like.
