The media could not be loaded. I got these to use in my kitchen remodel but ended up using them in my hallway since we were trying to do some painting and a little bit upgrades before we did the kitchen. These lights are awesome and definitely light up the space. Easy to setup and definitely better than a bulky dome light. There are 5 different light settings for just enough light to bright daylight. With the right size hole saw these install quickly and easily in drywall. They can be used either in ceilings or walls and they are a bright light I like the fact that they are able to be color temperature adjusted. I have not needed to dim them because they are almost exactly the right brightness for a kitchen countertop lighting system. They look good you do take more care than with round because you have to have them square to the wall or cabinets to look good. But these are nice lights. ... show more

In our basement, we have a somewhat low suspended ceiling. When the house was built, it had a 2'x4' panel fluorescent light in the middle of the room, plus two can lights in front of the corner fireplace. That was nearly 50 years ago. Time for an upgrade! Old lights out, new lights in. It was just about that easy. We had to replace a couple of the panels first, before cutting the holes for the new lights, but other than that, installation was pretty straightforward. The lights are very bright and we did have the thought that they would probably be better for our situation if the light itself was set up in the housing more and not so flush with it, but that's a minor thing. They are dimmable, so we will get a dimmer switch to tone the brightness down a little. The light is adjustable in color temperature too, so that affects the brightness a little. I love the square shape of these, rather than the typical round design. My husband (the installer) and I are both happy with them! ... show more

I have been swapping out some of our older technology recessed cans with the new versions like these snap-in versions. One of the better reasons to get these if the ceiling in next to the roof or attic is that they seal the air inside from the space above. This also makes them acceptable for wet location installation. They have a rubber gasket that seals along the inside ceiling. The installation is easy and safe. The metal cable housing keeps things safe and secure. Use the provided wire push-nuts. You will need to purchase the entry connectors to ensure the wire is held and shielded against cuts. After the install, dont forget to select your white color that you like. Personally I love 3000k bright white color the best, but the good news is that you can normalize the white color if you purchase multiple brand of lights in the same room. I loved the size of these, putting them in a close pattern above the vanity in our bathroom. The square shape makes an architectural flair that sets these cans apart. Buy them and love them.     • Great lights but be careful when cutting the holes

These are really great lights. They put out a ton of light and match all of my existing square lights in the living room. My only gripe is that they are a little difficult to install due to the fact that the bezel is only maybe 1/4" from the cutout. If you don't cut a perfect hole, you might have a small gap. The first one that i cut out was a little big but luckily I was able to maneuver it to cover everything but it was a close call. Would be nice if the panel inside was smaller than the bezel but once you figure it out, it's not that bad. Otherwise, these things are an amazing deal. ... show more
