To avoid any confusion as to the product description herein under review, the actual product description as posted by the seller on his Amazon marketing webpage is: ADE WU Trendy Square Aviator Sunglasses for Women Men, Vintage Gold Metal 03 Pilot Sun Glasses 57mm. Price-point during this review: $13.49. At first glance, with this very economical, low Amazon price-point for this attractive pair of "unisex" sunglasses product, one might expect minimum value for it. But, after having acquired it as part of my ongoing membership within Amazon's Vine Voice reviewer team program, I can assure you that at the very least, this item is capable of making an immediate 'fashion-statement' impact from the very first time they're worn. Some of the other fine features I've thus far found to be applicable to these glasses, currently under my review, are as follows: 1) While the Amazon vendor of this product lists this item as 'pilot' sunglasses, they've been more popularly described as 'aviator' glasses for years on end. For most of my outdoor endeavors in life, I've always been attracted to this somewhat 'macho' style of eyewear sun protection, and this particular 'snazzy', latest addition to my accumulated collection is by no means preferentially-placed at the 'end-of-the-pack', in spite of the fact they're easily the lowest priced specimens among all of them. 2) This particular pair is interesting in its own right, as both the construction and shape of the lenses' frame is a bit unique and cosmetically appealing in its attempt at qualifying to be classified in the deserved aviator category. I especially find the metal, gold-colored design effect of the two areas that retain the actual lenses to be especially 'catchy' in their respective design makeups. 3) This seller also mentions, on his Amazon marketing webpage, that this product is an apparent 'throwback' item that pertains to the 'vintage' years of those 'glory' aviation adventure days gone by. Well, IMO, those days will never be forgotten, as this very 'chic' eyewear style will never 'grow old' and be forgotten. I've seen little in the development of sunglasses in recent times that can match the sleek, appealing look of this very appealing aviator rendition. 4) Enough about my obvious love of the cosmetic features re this product, and now for a bit of 'technical' info regarding the actual, practical and physical eye protection it offers against the harmful effects of the sun's constant, potentially harmful radiation. Once again, as I've recently stated in a review of a similar pair of these Amazon-offered eyewear 'beauties' I gifted to my wife, I have no way of truly verifying the veracity of this vendor's claim that these glasses actually merit the sunglass 'industry's' highest rating standard of UV400 anti-glare and Ultra Violet ray (UVA and UVB) radiation protection ratings against harmful, potential sun damage to the eyes. I can only take this seller's 'word' on my 'blind-faith', that these glasses will perform 'as advertised'. BTW, both the aforementioned UVA and UVB designations can be equally harmful, the only difference between both their abilities to protect the eyes are their respective 'wavelengths', a mere technical description that lends more credence to the efficacy of any given sunglass product. 5) Just to 'even out' my top endorsement of this product a bit, the only current slight negative I can ascribe to this item is the somewhat 'superficial' and 'lightweight' gold-colored plating on the frame. Albeit the fact that the base is purportedly made of stainless steel, I find the golden-color affixed to the steel frame to be a bit 'flimsy' in its visual presentation, but definitely not enough of an issue for me to declare this as a 'deal-breaker' by any stretch. I therefore am 'all-in' with awarding this item a top 5 stars' rating and I do recommend it - - besides, how can you go wrong with the low Amazon-offered price for such a fashionable article?

I got these for my boyfriend after seeing them look wider on the faces of women in other reviews. I would say these are not as unisex as I anticipated and they are normal to smallish on him compared to frames designed for men. Overall, though, they are nice and work for sun shading. The gold finish is holding up to regular use and the frames are loosening up to a more natural, comfortable fit after a couple of weeks. I think what is coolest about these is the slightly different shape of lenses/frames compared to classic aviators. Would recommend trying!

I obtained these ADE WU gold aviator sunglasses with green lenses, and they’ve been great. They fit securely without sliding, even when I look down. The lenses aren’t overly dark, so they’re usable in dim light or at night for glare reduction. The rigid, wide temples took some getting used to but look stylish. The solid, non-spring hinges feel durable, though care is needed to avoid bending them. After six months, the gold finish remains intact, and they’re very comfortable. At $18.99, these sunglasses are a great value.

These sunglasses make a statement with their flat lenses and thick gold frames. They provide good sun protection on normal days but I don't believe they would be dark enough for direct sunlight at sunset. Let's be honest, for me and I think others that would order these, it's not about sun protection it's about how they look. I went to a local outdoor event today and received several compliments so I think they fit my use case.
