Addi Turbos are by far the best circular needles I have every used. They are expensive needles (just what us knitters need expensive needles on top of expensive yarn lol) but I find them to be worth every penny. They have a super smooth seamless join at the end of the needle and start of the cable; I have never had yarn catch on a pair of Addi Turbos even with tricky mohair. I find the point of the needle perfect, not too rounded and short yet not too thin and pointed. I usually don't even bother to relax the cable in hot water as it is already very supple. I used to shy away from projects that were knit in the round because I hated using circular needles or I would spend a ton of time converting the project to be knit flat and seamed later. Then I was hired at a fiber arts store with an amazing yarn department and part of my job was to teach knitting (and crochet, embroidery, weaving, etc...) as well as make samples for the store. I remember one of the first samples I wanted to make (it was a lace shawl made with a cotton and silk lace weight yarn), I grabbed a pair of long straight needles and my department lead made a weird face. She asked why I didn't knit shawls on circulars as the weight of the project would be more evenly distributed which would be easier on my wrists as well as having less chance of the project coming off the needles while I wasn't working on it. I responded that I hated how the yarn constantly catches on the join on circulars as well as the irritating stiff cables. She grabbed a pair of Addi Turbos and said “you are gonna love these!” she went to write off the needles for store use and I pretty much fell in love :) Now I use Addi Turbos for everything; hats, blankets/afghans, tea towels, shawls, scarves, socks, and many times I will convert a sweater pattern that is knit flat to being knit in the round unless I think it needs the extra stability and structure from seams.

I have used this brand of needles for multiple fair isle and cable kitting projects; no snagging; smooth; very flexible cord; no frustrations with this brand of needles. The right tools make your projects easier. These needles are the right tools for me.

It is pictured as longer needles and the needles are actually really short. The shorter needles are uncomfortable for me. This was not what I expected. The quality is good but again not what I was expecting

Was sent the Addi needles with the blue cord. Not the ones with the gold cord as advertised. So if you are ok with more-or-less the same thing, order here. If you want the specific gold cord needles, find another merchant.

The tips aren't quite as sharp as I would like and the fiber doesn't slip over the needles as smoothly as I would like. Right tool for the right job. Might be better with a thicker yarn than Fingering

This is the best circular knitting needle I have ever used. The needle is lightweight and yarn just glide through it. I can knit a lot faster and happier!! I read all the review about Addi products before I ordered this unit. I had the Knit pick interchangeable rainbow wood circulating needle set and was not happy with it since the connector always broke off, yarn got stuck and the no. 5 just cracked in half. Addi Needle is a much better product and I already placed an order for the set.

I'm a Signature needle girl unfortunately they do not come in every size. I own every size they make but for the sizes they do not offer I order those in Addi Turbos. They are excellent needles that slice through the yarn like going through warm butter. A real joy to work with. Good tool for any craft truly makes all the difference.
