Description

Weighing just 3.7 oz (105 g), ADC's all-new Adscope-Lite 619 is a durable yet lightweight stethoscope with the acoustic performance you'd expect from an instrument costing two to three times more. The combination chestpiece offers an ultra-sensitive diaphragm for greater amplification and crisper high-frequency transmission as well as an extra- large bell for unsurpassed low-frequency response. The 619 also features Adjustable Frequency Design (AFD) technology to further enhance the acoustic response. The clinician headset, designed to withstand thousands of cycles, features a double-leaf tensioning spring and a reinforcing yoke molded into flexible PVC tubing. Comes with a free scope ID tag and two pairs of Adsoft Plus Snap-on silicone eartips (one large, one small). Individually acoustic tested. Lifetime warranty and free parts forever. I used this for nursing school and found it very helpful. You have to have a somewhat discerning ear, though. When I say you'll hear everything, I mean you'll likely ausciltate everything at once, it doesnt matter which structure the bell is immediately over. Heart, sounds, lung sounds, crepitus, some gastric noises, your own knuckles cracking as you adjust your grip, etc. This stethescope has very clear sound quality, its durable while remaining extremely light weight. It comes in unique colors which will prevent other people from mistakenly or intentionally taking your particular stetchescope. I think that the quality for the price is wonderful. This would not be a good stethescope for someone who has never ausciltated heart or lung sounds before. Think about listening to an orchestra with different harmonies, you could pick out the sounds of each instrument playing if you had heard each instrumemt played in isolation prior to the ensamble. My first stethescope (from another brand) broke which brought me to this one. I managed to rely on it 5 days a week for 8 months without any signs of wear. I recommend it as a cheap backup or learning stethescope for those who can diffrentiate body systems and their unique sounds. ... show more

This is a great deal. As a nurse in a pediatric practice, I don't really need a fancy stethoscope, but we do need one that works well and is comfortable. This stethoscope is literally at least as good as my $100 littmann which just broke, and it's more comfortable and lightweight. I love the color, too. Would highly recommend as long as you're not in cardiac care or pulm or something like that ... show more

I bought this to have at home while caring for my elderly mother. I wanted something cute and it is very good quality. However, the true color is a very pale blue, not the more saturated color in the photo. If that’s not important to you, it’s perfect. The media could not be loaded. I love this stethoscope! Perfect for training, MA, and really anything because the sound quality is perfect with the option to open up the ring to hear louder, very lightweight, I got the rose quartz and the color is beautiful I think the grey ring and ear pieces go perfectly with the color, much better then black, it’s perfect in length, the stretch is great so it will work for someone with a smaller head or bigger it fit’s very comfortably, the extra set of ear pieces is a plus because not everyone’s ears are the same and the name tag because sadly people see something pretty they will take it the second you set it down, I definitely recommend for a starter or long time use not to mention the lifetime warranty on all parts, I’ve already gotten so many compliments on my first day using it ... show more
