When my littman master cardiology stethoscope died after 10 years I took a chance on this one based on great reviews and 1/3 the cost. It did not disappoint. Sound quality is just as good and it's much lighter weight. The extra length is nice so I'm not right in someone's face to use it.

Needed a better quality stethoscope to care for mother at home … I have some hearing lis in one ear And my old stethoscope just didn’t allow me to hear her heart and lungs adequately… this product is amazing… I can hear everything…. Both of my daughters are also going into the medical field… when they graduate, I will be buy one of these stethoscopes form them each when they graduate!!! I ordered this tactical black scope almost 6 years ago and used daily. Perfect mix of quality, weight, comfort, sound and price. Ive used littmann previously. They make great stuff but the high end ones are too heavy and their lightweight models are too cheesy. This one fits right in between. The bell cover finally came apart and after being unable to find parts to order, contacted ADC. They responded same day to my email and sent out the parts I needed free of charge that was delivered a few days later. Great service. However, the black coating on the bell will fail and scratch off after a year or 2. They don't include cosmetic issues with their lifetime warranty. They were kind enough to help me out but I would suggest avoiding this particular model and stick with silver bell models. They are bulletproof.... ... show more

My Litman stethoscope, which I had for almost ten years, broke, and I took a chance of getting this new one because I didn't want to spend too much money. I am glad that I did buy this stethoscope because it is amazing. I can hear clearly, and it is so light. I definitely would recommend it.
