I have a Porter Cable 5.5" DA polisher that I've used to correct the paint on three different cars. I got the Adam's 3" DA polisher to go places where the 5.5" wouldn't go. The Adam's performs very well and seems very robust. I'm sure it will last many years. It's comfortable, comes with a huge 25' cord and it's light enough to use with one hand. I only have two complaints. The vent for the motor is in a location near where I normally put my hands. I had to keep readjusting my hands to avoid overheating the motor. This isn't a deal breaker. You'll get used to it. My second complaint isn't really the fault of the polisher. It just wasn't as useful as I thought. There are open panel areas where I will always use the 5.5" polisher and then there are very small areas that can only be polished by hand. This is good on those small areas around latches, emblems, etc., where the 5.5" can't fit. I found this most useful with plastic lenses and side-view mirrors, but I could have polished them by hand without too much more effort. I'm still happy with the polisher, but make sure you really need one first.

Great polisher. Don't let the weight discourage you. At first it may seem heavy coming out of the box. It's close to 8 lbs. however once it's up and running it floats across the area you are polishing. It's very smooth. I use the 3" pads. It's easier to work and the 3" pads covers a lot of ground, also I found it easier to clean and cheaper then buying pads that are 6" - 8" inches. If you're just a DIY detailer for your own cars, then this is the polisher for you. If you own a detailing shop, then bigger pads / polisher is a must. I'm an avid detailer for my cars and this will save you so much time and effort then doing it by hand. It's so easy to use and it makes you look forward to polishing your car and seeing the results. This polisher feels robust and not flimsy at all. It's powerful, but easy to handle and the 10' ft power cord makes it easier to move around your vehicle. I highly recommend this polisher for all wkend DIYers.

I’ve used this buffer on smaller, tighter areas that a standard 5/6 in buffer is a little to broad to get full “correction” out of. and for headlight corrections Works great, quiet enough, and the chemicals it comes with are an extra bonus Pictured - winter beater Buick got a one step light correction, and Pontiac Grand Prix headlight restoration (also wet sanded)

Although I'm a novice and haven't used any other buffers, this tool met all expectations. Just buffed out a full-size pickup and had zero problems. The unit is light enough to use with one hand without fatigue and experienced no bogging down. The 25 ft. cord is plus. Used 3M #30043 pads and #39003 Finesse II compound and got excellent results.

I have only had this polisher a few hours so I can't attest to functional longevity but have used it on several panels. I purchased this after being frustrated with my Rupes mini stalling on curved panels and after 3 years I finally decided to try something else. I own numerous Rupes machines and I love them so in no way is this meant to hate on Rupes. This thing feels very solid and well built. It is slightly louder than the Rupes mini and a little quieter than the flex 3in DA. The vibration and smoothness are the same as the Rupes mini which is amazing. The feature I am most impressed with is its ability to maintain rotation on very curved panels. At speed 3.5 and up I havent been able to make it stall under normal working conditions and even under significant signficant pressure it keeps going. I am really blown away by this thing and for the price it's an even more amazing deal. I am interested to see how their larger 15 and 21mm machines stack up against the competition. I would absolutely recommend this machine as it really is amazing and not just because of the price.

I used this today for the first time on my truck. There's many tight space/angles on the bumpers, pillars, doors, side mirrors that my larger polisher is too big to fit in. I knew this polisher would fit better but I was skeptical about the power. Well it definitely packs a punch! I didn't want to buy the Griots because I've heard of it being underpowered then I saw the Swirl killer has more power. I could have gotten a smaller backing plate for my larger polisher, but it's a lot of down time having to remove it and change out the counter balance weight every time I want to switch. It's better to have the extra dedicated polisher as it gives the other one a break and don't have to worry about over heating. I was amazed at how quickly it corrected with the Meg's cutting microfiber pad, with very little vibration. I love the slow start feature and preferred to use it when needing to focus on deeper blemishes on panels. Well worth the small price!

Success ! I've done several headlight restorations before using a Milwaukee sander, but, this is easier. The 3 inch hook and loop soft foam buffering pad made it with some signs of wear. The pad is not a part of this machine; it's an additional accessory. The machine is perfect. It released a light burning smell and I'm not sure if it is because of any gear lubricants warming up since it's brand new or if it's anything to worry about. For as long as the review is not updated, the machine hasn't given up yet. Five bright stars for now.

The media could not be loaded. I am a professional auto detailer and I have a lot of different polishers. This adams swirl killer 3 inch polisher is the most powerful tool out of all my high end polishers! This polisher has tons of power and torque and more then enough correction capabilities! I highly recommend this product especially for the price! I paid $117 which was less then the other 3 small polishers I have and now my goto polisher for the areas needed!! You won’t be sorry you got it!!
