I am really happy with this product. The snorkel mask is made well, there’s no noticeable flaws or issues with the mask. The pieces attach securely and the mask works just as intended. My daughter is in love with this mask. It works really well, you can dive underwater with the mask on and can breathe for small amounts of time. I am not a doctor and am not suggesting my advice is best or that you should follow it and please make your own decisions for your child’s safety to the best of your ability. These little rules I created for use of this mask is what has worked best for me and kept my daughter safe and happy. I personally don’t recommend this for younger children (under the age of 8) unless your plan to consistently watch your child. My little one is 4, a really great swimmer that can navigate through easily, she can also handle herself well in scary situations especially when she needs to find air immediately. So I decided to purchase this and allow her to try it. We started out small and had her test it in the bathtub, then worked our way up to a larger body of water. My personal rule for her is that she is only allowed to wear her mask for 5 minutes at a time, and she must remain within arms reach and in my sight at all times. After the 5 minutes, she is required to take the mask off for at least 5-10 minutes for a breathing break. The reason I do this is because during my research on the mask, I discovered that this specific snorkel mask can create too much carbon dioxide from your child breathing improperly while swimming and there have been unfortunate situations where children have gotten hurt or worse using these masks. For me personally, if I didn’t stand by my child the entire time, I wouldn’t feel comfortable with her using the mask independently unless she can hold her breath underwater while swimming for 30 seconds or longer because then I’d know she is completely aware of how to swim and breathe properly/independently and when to remove the mask if it doesn’t feel right. Children can get excited while swimming and not realizing they aren’t breathing fully or clean air and pass out. With all things, as long as you’re responsible with this mask, it is a blast! My teens have them as well and love them. I also make them take breathing breaks haha. Better safe than sorry right? ... show more

These new style snorkel masks are the best! I mean complete game-changing for snorkeling. They turn your face into a glass bottom boat and they're so easy to breath in. Also love the float ball that makes sure you never inhale water. My wife and I have had them for a while and I bought two for the kids and unfortunately, they both leaked pretty bad. I figured I'd try again with this one, since it looks a little nicer. This one doesn't leak at all. The kids love it and wear it all the time in the pool. My 4 year old who still has floaties will even wear it and put his face in the water. The age says 3-8 years old, but my 11 year old daughter wears it comfortably, but she is on the smaller side of 11. These masks are a little bulky to pack in your suitcase when you head to the beach, but the fact that the breathing tube detaches and cantuck inside the mask, you can compact it at least a little bit. If you are looking for a kids full facemask snorkel, you'll be happy with this one. ... show more

I have 3 grandchildren, 2 of them are in the age range recommended for this snorkel mask (the other is younger). They visit me a few times a year and love to swim (in south Florida) but haven't yet mastered the snorkel. So, I ordered this mask to let them experience snorkeling and so that they can learn how to eventually use an "adult" snorkel. They haven't tried it yet and won't for a few months, so I'm rating on what I can see. This mask seems very well thought out and made. It appears to be the correct size for a child's face. My wife tried it on (her face is a lot smaller than mine) and it fit tight, but it did form a good seal. So for now, I'm very impressed by this mask. I'll update this review if my opinion changes after my grandkids try it. ... show more

This mask is really nice. It covers the whole face so you don't have to worry if a little one is concerned about getting their face wet. We used it to help teach our little one to get her face under the water. It stays clear and she loves that she can now go underwater without having to plug her nose or deal with chlorine in her eyes. This snorkel is really cool and has been such a fun addition for my kids to use while swimming or bathing. The snorkel adjusts easily, and is easy to put on. It has great suction to the face, so it doesn’t let water leak through. The mask does not get foggy easily and is really clear. I first thought something was broken because in the top of the snorkel there is a clear piece that is loose. However, that is what helps the water stay out and when you go underwater, it will float to the top. You just want to make sure that the headpiece is attached properly with the strap by your ear. This has been a much simpler snorkeling mask to use for my younger kids. They feel a lot safer using these and feel more confident breathing with that underwater. It’s a must have! ... show more

This snorkel for kids is amazing! If color is important I can say what we got and the picture shown is spot on. It is a nice soft pink color. It fits my 6 year old pink loving daughter ver well. It was easy for her to adjust to get a good seal on her own. Now I have seen and used masks that are similar to this one. I can say this one far exceeded my expectations. I love that there are two different seals. The part that covers your mouth and nose is seal off from where the mask then covers your eyes and face. The seals are soft and did not bother my senstive kiddo at all. The seal for the snorkel where it attaches to the mask is also very good. With proper care I can see this mask lasting a long time. It comes with extra filters for the snorkel as well as nose plugs and ear plugs. There is so much value here for the price. I would buy this item again should I need it. ... show more

Nice mask for kids. A lot easier to user than a traditional mask and snorkel. You do have to teach them how to get a good seal all the way around your face. Allows the wearer to just float on their stomach peering down into the water.
