Description

The Acudor pa-3000 plastic access panel is designed to provide easy access to walls and ceilings. The high impact styrene plastic with U. V. Stabilizers will not fade or corrode. The panel is completely removable from the frame and fits tightly with snap latches. The white finish, with textured exposed surfaces, can be left as is or painted to match the surrounding areas. This panel is easy to install by applying caulking adhesive to the back of the frame and pressing into place.

This access panel is a bit flimsy so you need to be careful installing it. Others have had problems with the door falling open. I places mine on the ceiling and have no problems with the door. The secret is, I think, to cut the hole so the panel fits easily without contorting the frame at all. I used spring clamps to hold it in place while the adhesive dried. That said the panel is flimsy and easily contorted. For me it looks as good as any acces panel can, which is to say it is ugly. Necessary but lamentable. ... show more

Great product! I used it in my basement to cover the gas meter. I was a perfect fit. I painted my walls white so unless you get close you cannot tell that there it’s a access door.

Item arrive over a month late and in a box it didn’t quite fit in properly and was cracked. This is very thin plastic and should be shipped in the appropriate box with plenty of protection.
