Have yet to field this for airsoft, though very effective. Pressure switch is very useful and flashlight and laser works well.

Ive had it for 3+ years going pretty rough. It has lived on my replica since day one and im milsim exclusively. I bang it to the ground, my replica has fallen on dirt, gravel, and concrete several times. Pros: - Cheap - Actual IR laser, tested up to 60 yards (60m) and easily visible under gen1+ nvgs, pretty sure it can push up to 100 yards, if using gen 2/3 then even more - Holds tight, ive torqued the shit out of it and it hasnt come lose or broken. - vis laser is good for indoors or dusk games - white light is decent for indoors or full night games Cons: - ir and vis lasers not on the same plane, at 10 yards the difference is about 1 foot (30cms) low and right and at a distance even more. - zero adjustment feels extremely loose, its just screws that freely rotate, no clicks, no resistance, nothing. They are fairly flushso it wont gent bumped but still - lens caps all came out. They are held in by cheap elastic bands that feel almost like office rubber bands but even less secure, and held by plastic turrets which can EASILY snap off. - flashlight is ok but nothing to write home about, it will help you see but dont expect a spotlight or a super focused beam. It does light up bbs as they fly to give you a decent tracer esque feel for some 20ish yards - battery life is pretty poor. Id say if you got your flashlight almost constantly on you get maybe 3 hours from a pair of well charged cr132 Verdict: If you are an airsoft milsimer who likes the look of a peq unit, want something cheap to go with your cheap nvg amd AEG, go for it. If you want something to hold up GBBR use, look somewhere else (id say maybe look into the sotac perst for 100 or rhe somogear peq for 230). If you want a super strong flashlight, look somewhere else. Ive felt worse feeling peqs, and a couple friends even have fake ir ones with actually no capacity to be used for such. What to improve? - make Ir and vis be on the same plane, just create a laser unit holder that has parallel spaces for both. - have zeroing have either a tactile click or be harder to turn. - add just a touch more power to the light (or add a focusing lens) and laser if possible. Those 3 things and this unit could be worth 80 bucks.

Excellent laser sight. I don't normally write reviews but there are several things about this Laser/Light combo that i thought were intuitive. I bought this peq box for my 556 AR-15 and hoping it would be interesting, worth my time and space on my rifle. Easy to mount it on my AR-15 and it mounts very sturdy. It also can work on my friends 5.56m4, 7.62 composite AK. As long as the intended object has a standard Picatinny rail system it’s mountable to the object. This is rugged but is design for airsoft. The IR laser is true IR functionality and it will not be visible through a thermal scope. It is very nice and works very well with my night vision goggles which is the whole point. The windage and elevation of the red laser/IR laser are both adjustable but please don’t over turn. Overall, the visible laser is for daytime operation while the IR is for nighttime operation, the IR mode is also used for lasing targets for CAS missions at night. If you use it for night hunting or plan on running one during night missions overseas this is a very good alternative to the peq15. As for the exact lumens, I can not say but what I can say is that it is extremely bright for being a non-military issue and it works well both indoors and outdoor and especially at night. If you also want your gun to look cool and have a bright light, this product is great. Final conclusion, definitely would recommend if you're looking for a good weapon light and don't want to spend the money on a SureFire, good quality PEQ15 replica.
