I love how beginner friendly these colors are! They are beautifully pigmented. The glitter is a little harder to work with but it was my second time ever doing acrylic nails so that’s probably my fault

CHOSEOS Acrylic Powder, Full Color 12-Color Series If you have ever wanted to get that professional look of a salon manicure at home, this is your chance. There is a huge learning curve with this acrylic gel nail powder which can be used as a dip power on top of your own nails or enhancements. This is like acrylics that you get at a salon but requires you to use a paint-on monomer and then dip or mix it to do nail art. The gel is pre-colored which saves you a step from having to add nail polish. I love the glitter ones so much and I am so happy that this contains mostly glitter. The issue with this product is that if you want to change the color, you have to remove/soak-off the enhancement. You can also apply gel polish on top of this without issue. YOU NEED TO PURCHASE A UV LIGHT SEPARATELY. I would also recommend purchasing an electric drill as well since you will need to file down the gel to fill in the gaps as your nails grow out. It is much easier to do a fill than a whole set. This gel does soak off but plan on using some foil with cotton pads for a good 30 minutes. Adding a bit of heat also helps. Clean your nails off with nail polish remover or alcohol and let dry.

Disclaimer: I did receive this item for free to try out. HOWEVER! All opinions are my own and I pride myself on unbiased reviews that can help others decide whether something is worth it. They didn’t advertise it as a starter set. Looks like these are just the colors. You’ll need to provide your own base coat, activator, and top coat. WIthout you won’t be able to use these at all. This set is very much not beginner friendly and it’s just so you can have access to a wider range of colors if you already have done this before. Color wise this is a pretty big set with 36 colors and that’s amazing! You can do so many combinations! The colors all go really well together, the selection of colors are just superb! I adore all of the different glitter colors this comes with as well. These are packaged very pretty and I am surprised they didn’t just include the base, activator and top coat. It’s not that expensive to add those in and would have made it super giftable as well. This is great to add colors to your collection on a budget. Just remember to add in the cost of having to provide your own base, top coats and activator to the price of this item.
