  • Waooo q hermoso acabado tiene
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I loved this trio of acrylic covers. The colours are beautiful and super natural, perfect for elegant designs and a professional finish. The consistency of the powder is excellent, easy to work with and does not crystallize quickly. They cover the nail very well and help to give a clean and delicate appearance. In addition, they fade super beautiful and last a long time without getting up. I would definitely buy them again. Super recommended for any nail technique! 💅✨ ... show more

  • Great introduction to the brand
First time reviewer. I've started to do my own nails since both the price and inability to get exactly what want in my area from full service salons is a headache, I'm also a mild germophobe. Researching for quite some time, I found a wide range of quality and price. Most stress avoiding cheap inudstrial chinese acrylic and polymer, since Mia Secret is American made I decide to give this a shot first however I also considered two British made products. First, you get a ton of product in each pot, times 3. Great buy in showing the range. They come sealed, the screw caps are secure ( something to think about- think about what happens to your loose mineral makeup. here, the mess is minimal) My skintone color reference since colors look different on everyone- I'm an NC20/25 Latina in the winter and NC40/42 with a natural tan, in a spray tan NW45 Colors- * Cover Pink: more of a bubblegum with slight sparkle, good for very fair/pink undertone women to simulate natural nail bed or someone wanting to rock a barbie nail. This won't pass as natural nail in a french on me, however I do wear this as a stand-alone when channeling my inner valley girl. * Cover Rose: slightly more understated, this says bridal to me. Same slight sparkle. I can pass this as natural in a French during the winter. beautiful shade * Beige: True nude with barely discernably pink that keeps it lively and not corpselike, no sparkle. I could wear this in winter or summer but with a french during the summer this is my go to. Richer tone latinas, african americans, asian, this WILL work in french on you! Some may say it's weird to point it out but you ladies that have yellow or mocha tones know how hard it is to find makeup/cosmetics without pink undertones, but that's another conversation. Application- They all apply the same, smooth. I'm not a professional however. You have a decent bit of time to get things right but don't doddle. When I started I figured out that thin layers until I got my placement right worked, newbie tip, get a small flat filbert brush from Michael's for 2.99, then upgrade to the classic #8 oval brush, also at Michael's, (beats $15-45 here and nail sites, EXACT same thing as well. Also applies to your makeup brushes). I used the Mia no burn primer and monomer, both great products. Smell is minimal from the actual powder but monomer has sillage, open a window and the salon smell will dissipate in 30min. Check out Naio Nails and Suzy at Nail Career Education on youtube for application start to finish. Filing is a breeze, even with a nail board 180 and buff block. I'm still getting my dremel technique down so can't say on that end. Wear itself if awesome, not clunky at all, strong. I liked this enough that I have bought more Mia products but with fills and total redos I don't think I'll be buying more acrylic for this year since you get SO much. I started doing my sister's and friends at after brunch just because I feel that I don't have to spare my product. Mia Secret be WINNING! ... show more

  • Good trial/variety set
I bought this set as a sort of trial kit since each jar is pretty small, that way I wouldn't be stuck with large jars of colors I didn't like and wouldn't use. It's definitely not as economical to do it this way if you like each color, but if you're on the fence and haven't used these colors or this brand before, I'd recommend it. To be clear, I'm not a licensed professional. I don't think Mia Secret is a professional brand and if I walked into a salon and saw them using these products, I would leave. If I can get my hands on it without a license, it's not a salon brand. That said, I used these with Mia Secret monomer and each nail cured within a a minute to a minute and a half, I had no difficulty putting layers on thin and smoothing the product so I barely had to file, they filed just fine with hand and e-file, I thought the colors were cute, and I had no problems with the product as far as chemical/weird effects. I actually felt like no matter how dry my brush was and how much monomer I pulled out of the ball, it wanted to act wet. I'm definitely still learning, but this made it easier for me to get a smooth sculpt even if it made it a little harder to wrangle into shape. I didn't have any problems with opacity, but I could see how someone with dark skin could have problems using rose only at the base of the nail. I'd recommend blending pink and rose or using beige/pink at the base, then blending to an ombre anyway. My nails held up for several weeks with no need to clear cap before I got bored of the style and took them off just to change them. I have used some of that crap from Sally and product wasn't consistent from color to color, but no problems with that here, so I was pretty happy with that. The major thing that I didn't love is that every color has shimmer in it and especially that there's no way to know that until you put it on. I don't especially want shimmer in everything and definitely want to know if that's what I'm getting when I read the label. ... show more

  • At first I had my doubts At first I had my doubts
The products arrived with their seal but initially when I used it for the first time it seemed sandy not characteristic of the brand, but after it polymerizes the pearl it loosens well and does not adhere to the brush as those that are sandy that damage the brush, I love this brand because the pearl allows you to work with the right amount without wasting, what I did notice that is different is that if you do not let the pearl polymerize completely it will run but believe me they are worth it, I used to buy the large francs but with the different systems that there these work for me, the colors are very similar but they are not the same.the two above are the same ... show more
