I bought the ACMER S1 mainly for small DIY projects at home and so far it’s been working well. The engraving on wood is clean and the details come out sharp, especially for small text and logos. Setup wasn’t hard and I was able to get it running pretty quickly. The working area isn’t very big, but it’s fine for crafts and small items. I’ve tried it on wood and acrylic with no issues. For the size and price, the accuracy is better than I expected. Overall, it’s a solid little laser engraver for beginners or hobby use. If you don’t need a large working area, this one gets the job done.

This is an excellent small-scale engraving machine. Its body is compact, and it is easy to set up, making it ideal for small projects such as engraving on wood or leather. Overall it's a great little engraver. My only wishes would be it had leg holes to add legs for a roller or larger projects and that the cords were in the back but I'm creative so I can work around those minor things. Easy set up and personally I didn't find a huge learning curve. Spent a couple hours playing around before I got into my 1st project and I am pleased with the results. I would suggest this for someone who is interested in getting started as a hobby or a small side hustle

The frame feels solid, and the design is compact, so it fits well on a small workspace. The 3500mW laser power works well for engraving on wood, leather, cardboard, bamboo, and some plastics. This is smaller than it appears but it's a good starter for smaller projects. This works for my current needs but I will probably need to save up for a larger machine in the future. Also, it needs many accessories that aren't included. They show it being used on an inside table in front of kids with no cover, base or venting. This is NOT how it should be used unless you want to poison and blind yourselves. The machine is decent for the cost but it's very poorly advertised for practical use.

This laser engraving is compact, lighter than I thought. It came with detailed instructions and it was easy to set up. I was impressed by its engraving accuracy and precise. This can work on various of materials, including wood, leather and bamboo. I’d happy to use this tool to make more DIY pieces.
