This mouse gets all the basics right but could use a touch of refining around the edges. First off, it comes with a battery (and has user replaceable batteries) which is a win in my book. No waiting for your mouse to charge when you really need it. It's receiver is a nice and tiny USB stick that stores away in the bottom of the mouse if you decide to not leave it in all the time. The white color might be polarizing but I really like it, especially for the USB receiver. It makes it very easy to find the receiver and it stands out from the sea of black mini receivers without being obnoxious. The mouse is a touch small for my hands but not so small that it hurts to use it. Hour long gaming sessions are no problem with this mouse. Other niceties are the on off switch and the battery tag for removing the battery are handy and appreciated. Now the refinements I'd like to see... 1) The USB receiver fits loosely in the base of the mouse and the battery door is the only retention mechanism it has. The battery door itself is a cheap plastic battery door so if you ever break it, you can't store the receiver in the bottom of the mouse without risking losing it. I'd like to see both the USB receiver's retention mechanism improved and the battery door improved. 2) The USB receiver can't really be pulled out when there's a battery installed. You have to turn the mouse over to dump it out. This really goes along with my first complaint. I would love it if the receiver stayed in the mouse but you could get a fingernail in there to pull it out when needed. That way if the door ever broke you could still safely store the receiver and get it out when needed. 3) It would be great if this was a laser mouse instead of optical. But that's not a huge deal so long as you use a mousepad. Overall this is a pretty solid mouse and I'm quite happy with it. Hopefully the battery lasts long enough to keep me from having to open the door terribly often and possibly break it. ... show more

I gave it 1 star since i use it for 6 months and had to replace batteries 4 times already. Thats not normal and i would have to buy a new one. Buy a mouse with 1 AA battery instead, it should last longer.
