I bought the Acer Post Consumer Laptop and thought about getting this mouse at the same time. The only reason why I didn't was because I have two wireless mouses...meeses...mice? Uh...yeah. Okay, so I obviously didn't need one, right? I mean, if you're considering buying a laptop made of post consumer plastic, then you're going to double check whether or not you actually *need* another plastic mouse floating around. Maybe that's just me - it's just me, isn't it? I can accept that. Anyhow, it wasn't until I realized that one of my wireless mice was missing a dongle (seriously, who names these things?), which renders it absolutely useless. Okay, no problem, I still have the other one - that's set up on my desktop. Now call me lazy, but having to disconnect from one computer just to sync to another computer is a bit of a pain if you use one for business, and the other for personal and wouldn't you know it, you're using both and finally give up and just use the track pad on the laptop. Again, probably just me - got it. So, after weeks of hitting the wrong button on the track pad I finally decided to just get the freaking mouse! I have small hands but long fingers and arthritis throughout my body. So, oftentimes what is standard doesn't work well for me. The other mice I mentioned? They work great for short term work as they fit in the palm of my hand, but the angle of the curve can get a bit much over time. However, this little gem has a low profile and is longer than my other mice...meeses...mouses? So I can use it longer. It tracks great and doesn't have the lag issues I've experienced with other...sigh...you know, the things that moves the cursor. Yeah, those! I'm glad I bought it, and wish I had ordered it when I initially got my laptop. In fact, when the mouse to my desktop gives out, I'll definitely one of these to replace it, along with stickers to tell them apart. ... show more

I have trashed two recently purchased wireless mice from long term device manufactures. Their tracking was poor, battery life anemic, and extra buttons that impeded productivity. I have two Acer computers and when I read the reviews of this Acer mouse both on the Acer website and several others, it was a no-brainer. Two months later I can report that this is the best mouse I have ever used. Great tracking, easy and light feel, highly responsive and have not needed to change batteries since receiving the device. I am on-line at least 6 hours per day, so the mouse gets a good deal of work. For the price, it can't be beat. I have two older Acers that behave similarly to the mice. Terrific price, excellent response time, acute graphics, easy to use---seems to be a trend with Acre products. When the first tablets came out nearly 12 years ago I purchased Acers for 6 members of my company. They accommodated 2.0 Serial Thumb Drives and 2 are still being used....highly recommend their products and this mouse in particular. ... show more

Not the fanciest mouse out there, no gaming features like adjustable dpi or mouse weights, but given that it's part of the eco-conscious Vero line it's very appropriate in terms of design and function. I have this paired with a Vero laptop, so aesthetics out of the way first...the finishes match. Performance-wise, I'll cop to a little disappointment that the mouse requires a usb dongle for use. While the Vero laptop has sufficient ports, I'd still prefer something a bit more elegant. Power comes from a single AA battery. Replacing is easy, as the top cover of the mouse just lifts right off with a minimum of effort. Given that I use the Vero laptop for everyday stuff (eg no real gaming or heavy duty applications like development or video editing) the mouse works just fine. And while it's a little petty, I do appreciate having the mouse styling match the laptop. A good product! ... show more

This mouse is perfect for traveling. I have big hands but it is not so small that it is uncomfortable and not so big that it is not easily packed. It is a perfect size, the "baby bear's porridge" so to speak. It is powered by 1 AA battery under the top cover and the USB dongle is also perfectly situated under the cover next to the battery for perfect storage. I couple the mouse with a USB rechargeable AA battery and am always prepared. There is also an on/off switch on the bottom of the mouse, I suppose to ensure battery life when not in use. Again, this is a perfect mouse so far and I highly recommend it, I have had weeks of use including taking it on 3 different cross country trips with perfect performance.
