This works great for my basement movie room. I ended up going with 1 hdmi to the tv and then using arc from the tv to soundbar. Wheb I tried to send this switcher out to the soundbar first some of the devices had problems. But going switcher to TV, then TV to soundbar over arc worked beautifully. Then if I want to toggle between cable stb, Nintendo or Xbox I simply press the inputs (or use remote) and bingo. No switching tv inputs, and everything is stable. Note you cannot use the remote through a cabinet or closet door, it uses IR. So get an ir receiver to pair up or just be prepared to press the buttons on the unit and not use the remote. I chose the latter as im up anyway to turn on the Nintendo or Xbox and or insert media into them anway. Would but again great value and works flawlessly in my setup!

This is a fantastic HDMI switch. If you need a simple 5 in 1 out HDMI switch, this is perfect. It's plastic, but has a finish like stylish dark aluminum. The switch works exactly as described. I've been using it exclusively for several days now and haven't found a single flaw. The LED indicator lights are bright but unobtrusive. The remote works well and has a "Next" button that cycles between inputs. It also will not switch to an input that isn't sending a signal. So if you only have devices plugged into 1, 2, 3, and 4, but only 2 and 4 are turned on and sending a signal, then the Next button will alternate between 2 and 4 only, until another input is sending a signal. A very handy feature and time-saver. I've tested several devices, including a PC and video game consoles and they are all compatible with the switch. For the price, this switch is phenomenal. You can definitely find more expensive switches with real aluminum casing or other materials, but this one is perfect for me. The plastic makes it very affordable and light-weight. Unless you are rough with your electronics, this will hold up and last for years to come.

This is exactly what I needed bc my TV ran out of HDMI ports! We have a blu ray player, roku stick, xbox and Playstation hooked up now with this simple unit offering an easy way to change inputs, simply clicking the button on the unit or using the included remote. Because this unit and my Roku stick both need a USB to power them, I did need a USB hub to turn one USB port into multiple tho but this works great! I have not noticed any lag in connection either! Definitely recommend!

Tried it for a week or so and after a week the signal would intemittly go blank for 2 seconds and this would repeat every few minutes. Very fustrating. Amazon did not want to return but shoved me over to Acer Tech support, where the representative did not even what the device was or did. I will try with a differnet power source, it come with a USB C cable but no plug in wallwart charger.

The 5 in 1 out HDMI switch allows you to connect five different HDMI devices to 1 HDMI display. It only supports one-way transmission, so it is not possible to connect 1 input and have 5 outputs. It comes with a remote control and a USB-C power cord. The remote control takes two AAA batteries and has six numeric buttons. You can press the button for the exact device you want to switch to, press the next button or press the number for the device that you want to use manually. The next button allows you to go to the next input that is plugged into the converter. The switch is powered with the USB-C power cable. I plugged it into my computer with the USB-C power cord that was included in the packaging. It requires 5V/1A power and if it receives less than that it may not work properly. If it is plugged into a high-powered charger like a phone charger, it may cause damage to the product. Exceeding 5V/1A should be avoided. The devices that I connected to this switch were three different computers with HDMI ports, and a composite/S-video to HDMI converter. The HDMI switch can detect when there is a signal coming from the input devices and will automatically switch to the active inputs when the next button on the remote is pressed. The input that is selected will have an indicator light next to it. This is an excellent HDMI switch that allowed me to connect four different devices to my television with only two HDMI ports. The device is well made and is easy to use. I also liked the sleek design of the product. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a way to plug multiple HDMI devices into a television without enough inputs.

This switch works well so far. I have used it for about a week at this point. There is about a 2 second delay with a black screen when switching inputs but it is not a big deal. It seems to run much cooler than the previous one I had which I suspect is why that one didn't last. I bought this one because of the Acer name and decent price. I will try to update on longevity.

This HDMI hub port is perfect for what I needed. Since our TV doesn't not have RCA cable inputs, this was easy to install, its multi functionality makes it perfect to switch between game consoles as well as DVD, or Blue ray / VCR if you're still using these. 😆 Connectivity is right on point. The remote makes it easy to switch between the port needed.

I have been using this for about a month so far after trying multiple other switches that just didn't want to cooperate with my setup. This one solved all of my problems! It works well, it feels well made and looks nice, the audio and video comes through well and functions exactly as intended, plus the possibility to connect many devices is practical with its 5 input ports. I really like that it came with a remote too! I will definitely recommend this product to others!
