The 5 in 1 out HDMI switch allows you to connect five different HDMI devices to 1 HDMI display. It only supports one-way transmission, so it is not possible to connect 1 input and have 5 outputs. It comes with a remote control and a USB-C power cord. The remote control takes two AAA batteries and has six numeric buttons. You can press the button for the exact device you want to switch to, press the next button or press the number for the device that you want to use manually. The next button allows you to go to the next input that is plugged into the converter. The switch is powered with the USB-C power cable. I plugged it into my computer with the USB-C power cord that was included in the packaging. It requires 5V/1A power and if it receives less than that it may not work properly. If it is plugged into a high-powered charger like a phone charger, it may cause damage to the product. Exceeding 5V/1A should be avoided. The devices that I connected to this switch were three different computers with HDMI ports, and a composite/S-video to HDMI converter. The HDMI switch can detect when there is a signal coming from the input devices and will automatically switch to the active inputs when the next button on the remote is pressed. The input that is selected will have an indicator light next to it. This is an excellent HDMI switch that allowed me to connect four different devices to my television with only two HDMI ports. The device is well made and is easy to use. I also liked the sleek design of the product. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a way to plug multiple HDMI devices into a television without enough inputs.

Bought to add additional HDMI input capacity to an AVR. These types of switches are notorious for having HDMI handshake problems and failure to reliably send a video signal. I experienced no such issue with this switch. I hooked up both current and vintage video game consoles and UHD blu ray players, which output anywhere from 480i to 2160p HDR signals and video came through cleanly and reliably. Of note is that this won’t switch video signals automatically; you need to manually press the button corresponding to whatever input you want to display. Also, one flaw in my opinion is that instead of having all of the HDMI inputs/outputs along the rear side lengthwise, there are also ones at each end. Makes for awkward placement of the switch where it needs extra room all around due to cables sticking out like an octopus on three sides. I had to be creative in fitting these inside an AV cabinet as a result. If you can work around these design flaws, this is an excellent and reliable video switch at a very attractive price point.

Does not work at all, bought this device on March and I tested it then and notice that was not working, initially I thought was because the power source was not appropriate and forgot to test it again until today. Same problem, power light is on but video is not showing on my display, and device is stuck in port 3, I cannot switch to other port using the device buttons nor the remote control. Really disappointed because my return window has past. Not recommended, get other options

Functionally, this switch is exactly what I needed and it works perfectly. However, I wish that the output and the power plugged into the back of the unit and not the sides, as it needs to be placed onto the tv stand where you can point the remote at it. Also be aware there is no 5w usb power adapter included and no batteries for the remote, but the pricing makes up for these things.

this product works great! its so nice having more than one hdmi port for all of my gaming systems. its seamless and easy to use. The switching speed is fast and it has a very wide range of compatibility. The led lights on the inside show if its on and which "channel" its on. Very little to no flickering. I Have an older TV so it does flicker when I change the port but it did that before this product too. Overall it feels well built and its a good price for what it is: convenient. It's a heavier plastic and the remote feels sturdy.

A game-changer for my home entertainment setup! The Acer 5-in-1 HDMI Switch has solved my port problem completely. I have a Samsung One Connect and wasn't sure if this would be compatible with it. The Samsung One Connect box already comes with 4 HDMI ports. By connecting this Acer 5 on 1 to one of those ports, you gain an additional 5. This is perfect for future proofing the ever growing need of HDMI ports with new game consoles, fire TV, Chromecast, DVR, etc... It's incredibly easy to set up, allowing me to effortlessly switch between multiple devices without any hassle. The '5 in 1 Out' function is perfect and the remote control is a huge plus. Highly recommended for anyone who needs more HDMI ports! It doesn't come with an HDMI cable so you'll have to get one of those.

I recently upgraded to a 4K TV and we all know the number of ports are limited. I previously used my Sony receiver as both audio and a switch, but part of how I got it so cheap is that it outputs at 1080p. Seems a bit silly to replace the entire receiver when the audio works great, right? This switch was the (near) perfect solution. There was only one catch and that is needing the additional HDMI cable to plug the switch into the TV. We all know nothing under $100 includes the HMDI cable, but it is always nice to dream. This is more of a reminder to grab that extra cable than a complaint about the product. After attaching everything to it, though, the output was clear and crisp. The switch feels sturdy and the buttons feel solid. Switching between inputs did not feel shaky and there was almost no delay before the new input was displayed. The remote has a nice premium feel to it, unlike those stick remotes with watch batteries that everything includes these days. This felt more like something deserving of a place next to the TV and receiver remotes. This was much nicer than I expected for the price and functioned a lot better than most of the docks it was used to connect. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in my situation. It is nice to finally enjoy switching between two consoles and a computer without having to get up and juggle cables or suffer reduced quality.
