Great for home use. I have an Acer Aspire that is still going strong since 2012, and that was a big consideration to go with Acer again. The old one had a 17" screen, this is 16", which I find to be quite suitable. It is definitly, much lighter than the old one, but in that regard, I am probably being Mr. Obvious. I have always liked a keyboard that had a number pad. With this being a smaller footprint than my old model, which had a full size number pad, I have had a period of adjustment getting used ton this one. I love the backlit keyboard. It turns off with no activity, but just touch any key and it's on. This machine is pretty quick, well suited for home use, browsing the internet, steaming etc. with no issues. And lastly, for the pricepoint, I think it would be hard to beat. ... show more

I'm an average computer user. This computer is well-designed from an ergo standpoint - soft keys that feel good to press on, the keys are where they should be, there's a large number keypad, and a large touchpad - that I sometimes touch accidentally. It's light in weight for a laptop but not all that thin in profile. For accounting and surfing the computer is fast and it's screen is sharp. I've had an IPad for a few years - this computer is pleasant enough to use that I find myself using it more often than the IPad. ... show more

    • Great Laptop!
I've had several laptops over the years, including a small ACER. This ACER is very good. It was very easy to set up, and the functionality is outstanding. Two impressive features are: (1) the battery life, which is by far the best I've experienced in a laptop, and (2) I can keep it on my lap, and it doesn't get hot! The cooling mechanism is fantastic. I love the backlit keyboard and the numeric pad. Typing is very comfortable, with good feedback from the keys. The large touchscreen is a great feature! The only reason for the 1-star deduction is that the screen flickers intermittently when I expand the screen to blow up an image, for example. I'm a little concerned about this, but it's not enough to replace or return. I would definitely recommend it! ... show more

I’ve been very happy with the Acer Aspire 16 AI Copilot+ PC so far. The laptop feels fast and responsive for everyday use, and the Snapdragon X processor handles multitasking smoothly. The 16" display looks excellent.. sharp, bright, and the refresh rate makes everything feel fluid whether browsing, streaming, or working on projects. Battery life has also been impressive, and the laptop stays relatively cool and quiet during normal use. The keyboard is comfortable, startup is quick, and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity has been solid. I was a little unsure at first because I had a bad experience with my last laptop from a lesser known maker (faulty power supply) , but overall this experience has been very positive. For the price this is a great PC, it feels like a modern, capable laptop that’s well suited for productivity, media, and everyday computing. ... show more

    • Really worth it for the price, even the current price despite it jumping up
So far so good. This thing handles photoshop better than I had hoped. I use it mostly for work and art. I would say that battery is okay. A little bit overblown by what the reviews had me expecting, but I'm sure if I put it into economy mode, it'd be much better. But if you are using programs that utilize resources, it really doesn't stand up to the battery life promised. If you just use it for word processing and the internet, you'll love it. Incompatibility is definitely less of an issue than I thought it would be, as every program I've tried has worked fine. My dumb self didn't realize it was touch screen, so that was a nice extra bonus. If you don't like AI components, or how annoying microsoft is, you might get annoyed by this laptop, just a lot of extra time scrubbing stuff from it. Overall, though, for the price was definitely worth it. I caught it at $550, and that feels like a steal for what it can do and the features it has. Really pleased so far. Avoid this laptop like the plague. I've had nothing but issues since I opened it. I can't even log into standard things like Indeed, my bank account, Facebook, etc; because this POS can't handle the standard authenticator programs they employ. Runs about as quick as molasses, and everything times out while it's still trying to load up. It is an incredibly expensive paperweight. ... show more

I only have had this laptop for one day and I love it. I’m mainly using it for college. However before I get into all of that I want to talk about the battery life before you buy this. The ONLY way to get the extended battery life is using is on eco mode. Otherwise it’s a standard battery life of 6-8 hours depending on what you’re doing, screen brightness etc. That’s the little detail they leave out. Once in eco mode and mid level brightness it says it can last up to 18 hours. So hopefully that’s the case. I replaced this with my previous laptop being an Aver Inspire 5 which I loved and had for over 5 years. This new laptop is everything I need and then some. Nice big screen, HD clarity, backlit keyboard, touchscreen and even a slide to cover the camera. My favorite feature is when you walk away from the laptop it auto locks so no one can mess with your work. I got this on sale during Black Friday and worth it. I’ll update as time goes on but definitely worth the money early on. ... show more
