I was looking for a good and not expensive laptop. This one works perfect, it is fast, I like the facing recognition, it charges very fast too. It is not heavy and the size is perfect to carry with you wherever you go. The image is also very decent, probably not for a designer.

great little laptop, bought as a back up my main one has been acting funny. having the thunderbolt 4 connections it is basically plug and play using my thunderbolt docking station. I am a bookkeeper and prepare taxes, have both machines loaded with every program I need, QuickBooks, Drake tax software. Make nightly backup copies and in 5 10 minutes can be up and running on this machine off of backup if the need should arise. ... show more

It has a clear screen. Boots fast. And I love how it's made out of a good material. I have had hp laptops and most I've had, I have had problems out of them. And those laptops were less durable, with hinges making noise on hps. I replaced my hp laptop with a laptop that matched my preferences. And acer had what I'm looking for. Asus did too, but I didn't want a gaming PC. I would recommend this laptop to someone that wants space, performance, used for anything, durability, long lasting battery life, quality. ... show more

Not Grand. The laptop is very quick and does exactly what I want but the mouse pad is a bit unpredictable with how it registers two touch or three touch actions. I will sometimes have to stop what I'm doing and be more mindful of my touch requests. I really didn't have an issue with my 2021 acer. "I also find the face recognition to be slow and wish the the touch print was still a feature. I do love the feel of the computer overall and these small QOLs stop it from being a 5 star. Also Don't expect to be able to run any games other than solitaire. This is a good product for students and home life. ... show more

    • Frustratingly small keyboard -- 799 is too much to pay for this item.
ACER makes great laptops, but this model is different, as it is very small, light and powerful, and the keyboard really takes getting used to -- my hands are an average size, this keyboard feels as if it was created for a 13-year old. I paid $799 for it using Amazon monthly payments and overall, I paid too much. I have used an Acer Nitro V for 10 years and even though the battery lasts about two hours now, it performs completely reliably, never a problem. Just letting people know, you may have to buy an external keyboard so you don't lose your mind constantly having to correct your typing errors. ... show more
