Update, after returning the laptop, we were shocked to find out that it’s going to take much longer than necessary for the device to be refunded. The device was received by the seller less than a week. After it was shipped back, we packed it better than it was shipped, and restored it to its earlier, defaults, and still we have not received our money as of this date, which is 21 October. They received the device on Tuesday the 18th. This is not good customer service on their part. It’s even more ridiculous when you consider that my husband purchased a computer from them of the same brand and type because we felt this was not their fault but the fault of some quirk in the audio situation and still we are being delayed in getting the return of our money. I find this reprehensible on the part of the seller. Please do not purchase from the seller, unless their customer service improves dramatically. My earlier review was changed from three to a one because of this. —- This laptop was not purchased for gaming. The audio is 20 to 30% lower than our other Acer machines purchased in 2019 and 2017. One of these is a Predator, the other is a Nitro. We have used Acers since 2009. I purchased this laptop for my husband as an early Christmas gift. I was terribly disappointed in its audio from the beginning. We did everything, including downloading the drivers that were sent to us by the seller. These drivers are from 2021 actually May 2021, and did not resolve the issue. I would suspect a computer, brand new, should not have to have drivers from 2021 to be installed on it to work when it should have the newest ones available. when a 2022 laptop of the same brand, placed next to an Acer of similar and comparable specs, in fact, somewhat lower specs, since this newer one, has, or should have a better chipset and audio drivers, when the older machine at the same audio levels out performs it, just for regular use, there is something wrong. We will be returning this product and hopefully get a replacement that actually measures up to all of the hype. We still love Acer we just seem to have gotten a lemon. ... show more

    • Fast, fun, great!
I bought this for my home gaming (etc) laptop. I play a lot of Steam games and particularly enjoy the Elder Scrolls/Skyrim games. This handles them with EASE. There is almost no wait between fast travel or moving in and out of doors. After playing on my PS3 for so long and being able to play a game of solitaire on my phone while waiting for fast travel or entering Breezehome or whatever, this is magnificent. The graphics are great and everything just loads so fast. I did splurge for the Terabyte of memory, so that could be part of it, but overall this laptop is everything I wanted in a laptop (except touchscreen, which don't seem to be a common choice in gaming computers). I did not enter a score for "tech support" because I haven't needed it. I have owned this for about 7 months and it is easily the best laptop I've ever owned. ... show more

I admit, I do not use this for gaming but my husband does. For me, I write and edit for hours. Battery lasts me a lot longer than it does for gaming. This computer is fast, handles dictation software well, also handles lots of tasks opened at once with ease. Photoshop is excellent on this computer. I love how sleek the design is and the backlit keyboard. It's so comfortable and easy to type on I can go super fast and my hands don't hurt at all. Also the cooling system is awesome, never gets hot like my old laptop. Overall, amazing laptop and I love it. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. As you can see picture and vid, the laptop cannot even process the video properly on Toutube. This glitching happens more often in worsening way when scrolling from one to another video on reels as it cannot process multiple videos. Overall I am so dissatisfied of quality after paying nearly 2 grand for it. Terrible and terrible! I buy this exactly a month ago and this happens... ... show more

Constantly has issues charging. Can turn it off for the night, try to plug it in the next morning, and it won't charge. It randomly starts again but the charging port seems to be going. Already. I've had it a week and had issues getting it to charge as soon as it was unboxed.
