This is where I'm making my review from now. I would usually not make reviews but I feel deeply that it is my duty as a person who has a little more than common knowledge of computers to relay this information to anyone scouring for a super cheap, computer they need now! This doesn't have an abundance of space but if you're a first year college student, like me, you don't need it. I bought this to only be used briefly for a year and a half (for all of my prerequisite classes) and I plan to sell it later and purchase a near $600 laptop to use for my engineering courses. This gets the job done, is very convenient, multipurpose, and when you just wanna wind down and watch a good Netflix show, it's perfect for that as well. I got to download a lot of my course applications on here already and everything runs so smoothly. Another thing is that the setup is relatively simple and pretty fun. I've had this laptop for a little over a few weeks now and I definitely don't regret my decision of purchasing. I got this 3yrs ago and II know it's not available right now, but for anyone who is for reason looking to get this at this time, it has been serving me well. I would say it's well worth the price, but I got it when it was below $200, which is a wonderful price for this. If you want a new one, it's around $300 I think, but refurbished is usually still under $200. The one I got worked like new and nothing was wrong with it. It's a very basic laptop with the interesting folding+touchscreen gimmicks. I found myself not using those features very often, but it's nice that they're there. This is not for gaming by any means. You could get away wtih emulating some things, but I wouldn't go beyond that. But it is a perfect little thing for basic browsing. And considering how Ii've been usiing this for years, I thiink it's great that it still gives me around 8hrs of battery. Of course as with anything, your personal usage will affect exactly how long it'll last. I use mine mostly for browsing and the occasional videos/streams. So overall, I still really like this thing and am continuing to use it. Just don't expect it to be like a productivity powerhouse or something haha ... show more

Product seems good, but after reading the description and the promise of a renewed product, the product arrived and didn’t even have a power supply. Add $20-$25 to your cost if you are comparing to other products. Would have been a great deal if charger included. I've only had it for two days now but I am very pleased so far. After ordering the laptop I noticed it said S mode and I didn't know what that meant. Googled it and was ok with what I read about it. Its a lite version of windows based computer. Knowing I wasn't using my former Asus Vivo-book : ( I read one websites of what you couldn't do with the S mode and he was very wrong. The battery is awesome!! I'm an herbalist and am constantly researching, but this little beauty holds up to my long hours of use. I was on it for more than three hours and didn't have to plug in or recharge!!!!! The touchscreen works as it should. It is netbook size in my opinion and not terrible. I wish the keyboard was backlit and it does run slightly slower than a full version of a laptop but I can adjust to that for the savings in price. I like this one way more than the ASUS. The really smart kid who was creating a free library for the world is the one who turned me onto Acer. Great job Acer but I'll come back and update my review after having it for at least 8 months... ... show more

Ordered refurbished and it arrived with issues something was wrong with the screen and it kept freezing up when trying to set up. Restarted and noticed screen was dark skins the edges like it was damaged! Never was able to use it from day one! Don’t buy refurbished is what I learned.

I like this ultra slim laptop, particularly touchable function. I use this laptop mostly for presentation and reading articles. It is small and light, which just fits in my backpack. It is a renewed one but with Amazon's warranty. don't worry too much.
