This replaced a old ACER (8 years old) that I was having problems with. I love this new laptop, great price with a fast processor and a large hard drive, it starts up so fast. The screen is crystal clear and vivid. I went back with ACER because I had great luck with my old laptop (reinstalled windows and it works fine now but No way as fast).     • Fraud Alert! These are not Acer options!
Where to begin... First, don't be deceived by the product description, these aren't brand new laptops! They are being sold by a 3rd party company that takes an Acer laptop, voids the warranty by opening it up and adding in their own, low quality memory boards and RAM and selling it to you at a higher price for these "upgrades". They should be labeled as "Refurbished" accordingly!" I thought I was buying a new laptop from Acer with 16 GB Ram and a 512 GB SSD. What I actually received (and didn't realize it until after making a warranty claim) was a 128 GB SSD with a cheap, 3rd party drive tacked on that was DOA (and 4GB of the original factory installed RAM, rather than 16 GB). The computer had issues from the start and they were getting worse over time. Frequent, unpredictable BSOD errors being the main one. I sent the computer in to ACER for repairs (and had to pay a high shipping fee) and they sent a note back with it detailing the issue with the 3rd party drive (which ended up being the issue) and they were gracious enough to get the laptop working again, albeit with just 128 GB of memory rather than the 512 GB I paid for. I did contact the seller and so far their response has been short and dismissive without resolving anything. Long Story short: Do not buy from this seller! The mean thing I didn't like, and when I was purchasing I didn't pay attention no cd rom drive. Other then that I do love my new lap top..

At 100% audio difficult to hear sitting right up at laptop. You will need to purchase external speakers to get decent audio. Had I known this I would have purchased another make or model

    • ACER hard disc failure
When trying to install software programs, every half hour it would crash with an error message "No Bootable Device". When I took it to ACER Customer Support in Hong Kong, ACER HONG KONG refused to do anything, because the laptop was not purchased in Hong Kong even during the warranty period. I was told it was a hard disc failure. Therefore, ACER does not provide a global service in support of its products. It can only be fixed in the country of sale origin. Secondly, when I looked up the warranty on ACER website, the period began in September 2021, it was delivered to Amazon customer on 23 February 2022 and it runs in 14 days. DO NOT BUY ACER FROM AMAZON. I have to return it, because of 3 market failures. ... show more
