This was really easy to assemble with great directions. The only thing I would say that I was disappointed about was for some reason the handlebars the front fender are both backwards and you have to actually flip them around and that was kind of confusing because there should be no reason why it was sent backwards even the directions said that it was sent backwards. My granddaughter let the bike fall over and the basket shattered. Seemed very fragile and not able to withstand "kid usage." The company replied to this post and is sending a replacement basket... so much unexpected answer!! This shows great customer service.

This is a cute bike but there are no instructions on assembly beyond a vague 3 minute video without audio. If you e never installed a hand brake I wouldn’t recommend it, it’s simple but has a learning curve and took hours to figure out.

Bike came partially assembled. Once I realized it was assembled incorrectly, I figured out the rest of the bike fairly quickly. The front "fork" (holds the front tire and the handlebars) was backwards, which is why the hub was too tight. Once I switched it around, the hub no longer rubbed the tire. My kid wanted a purple bike, I wanted a bike that looked like her sisters' bikes and this made us both happy. She's wiped out in it a couple times (always with a helmet on) and the bike is holding up fine. Great starter bike before I buy her an Electra beach cruiser in a few years. ... show more

Bicycle is far from 85 percent assembled. The only thing already assembled is the rear wheel. The hand brake is very difficult to figure out. Took my husband who is a retired serviceman 3 hours to assemble.
