I like finding deals like this were damaged packaging gives the customer a ridiculously good price on a part. Everything was there and the alternator work as it is designed. Only reason for the 3 stars for install is that on a 98 Cherokee you have to work from the bottom and top of the vehicle to remove and install this part. Great fit and works! Plastic connector part on back on unit was broken in pieces due to shipping and very poor packaging. Used the original to replace the damaged.

Install of this alternator was quick and uneventful even considering my current state of disability. The best price I have found for a new alternator anywhere. Will refurb my original one and have it chromed. Keep it on the shelf in case I need it some day
