Great part! Works great
I have a 2001 Chevy Blazer with the 4.3 Vortec with 105k original miles. The original Delphi alternator finally started making awful bearing noise and the voltage regular has failed about 6 months ago. This new alternator is brand new and it is a genuine ACDELCO GOLD part. Installation took me about 30 minutes. There are two bolts, one electrical connector, and a positive wire you gotta remove. It’s super simple. Once you take out the original alternator, make sure to hammer the two metal dowels toward the front of the car on the alternator bracket to make the new part installation easier. The torque spec for the two alternator bolts are 37lb-ft. You can’t mess this up. It only fits one way. The voltage is now perfect with this new alternator, and the car seems to run better with consistent voltage. Great price too! ... show more

Works great
Bought this for my son's 2003 Chevrolet S-10 ZR2 with the 4.3L Vortec engine. Fit perfectly and was simple to change out. This is also the best price I've seen, by far. Especially for an OEM part. I will update the review if anything changes.

I bought this alternator for my 2003 Chevy S10 ZR2 to replace the original one that died this new one fit perfectly and worked good for 2 weeks then it died I believe it was my subs currently running a 1 12 750 watt amp so if you have subs you may want to consider getting a bigger alternator but if you don't have subs this one works great ... show more

One later later, we're still good to go.
I installed this on my 2002 Chevy Blazer a year ago. No complaints at all. Holds around 14v while running, unless I have the headlights on, the rear defroster on and the HVAC set to high, the it's around the mid to high 13's. With all the aftermarket junk I've gone through they'd tank to the battery voltage (12 or so). Very well built in my opinion. ... show more
