Amazon shows this as being compatible with a 1994 K2500 Diesel Suburban. It can be used but requires clocking the rear of the alternator case to fit. The adjustment itself only takes 5-10 minutes but seems like it shouldn't be necessary for a brand new product. I suspect this was built to the 1995 and later GM mounting specifications. 1995 and later 6.5 diesels have the alternator and AC compressor swapped from their respective passenger and driver side positions. Outside of that, I have a consistent 13.8 volts and no more alternating current looking to cook my batteries. ... show more

Great value, delivered as advertised. One thing I wish would have been added in the description was the location of the charging terminal. Mine was at the 3 o’clock position now it is at the 9 o’clock position. Not a deal breaker but would be nice to know

Got this for my 1994 Chevy 5.7 back in August of this year took me literally only 15 minutes and bolts on just like my old OEM one. You can watch a youtube video on how to do this with some hand tools doesn't take much work to put it and is way cheaper than getting it from any auto parts store near me. Only have to take 2 bolts out, disconnect the connector at the back, and the ground cable too and that's it. ... show more
