    • Cleared my P0017 code
Code reader read P0017. Cam and crank position sensor out of timing. Dealer said it is usually timing chain. $3,500. The car ran great (SRX 3.0V6) so I replaced all 4 camshaft sensors. 2,500 miles later no codes and less than $100 for the parts.

Ordered 4. 2 out of the 4 are defected but couldn't return because it was a week past the return window. Which I had no control as the wait time for a mechanic was weeks out. Disappointing because I am out of the 2 cost wise and had to order more at a upcharge through the mechanic. Make sure you use before the 30 days to insure they aren't defective ... show more

I replaced a bunch of sensors, including these ones to clear some codes and the codes stayed off until the truck died so it lasted over a year
