So I wanted to give this a fair review so I added a couple of photos. Typically I don't do photos with my reviews but I couldn't find a better way to explain this let me give this a shot, no pun intended. Okay so I wanted to try a variation. So first I tried a Springfield Hellcat, with a warrior Warriorland MB3, Green-dot, 600 Lumens, under barrel optic. There is no way, with any kind of optic that this will be a good belly band holster. Ironically, if they would have only made the bottom of the holster slightly wider, to accommodate the optic this probably would have worked very well. Otherwise, when you draw the optic is likely to stay behind! There's absolutely no way you can have an optic and use this holster. That being said, I then tried it with a fairly large pistol being the Walther P99 (9mm). To my surprise it fit very well. Not only did it fit but it really didn't print. Now to qualify that I'll say you definitely want to wear a button down that you're not tucking in, which is what you would expect from a belly band holster. It did hold it close to the body, you really couldn't see the grip, so it really didn't print. As far as the durability of the holster I'm impressed. I'm almost embarrassed to say an $8.99 holster can have a good review. When I first opened the package and stretched it out I already had my mind made up that I was going to give it a one or two star. However after recognizing that the material was wide, sufficiently durable and stretchy, in the right size, I began to change my mind. If it's well around the belly. I have a 32 waist. Up higher I don't know what my dimensions are but what I can say is it does fit well and it's not uncomfortable. The one thing with belly bands are if you plan on eating lunch or dinner while wearing a belly band, you might find your capacity to eat will be lacking, lol. Like I said, to my surprise for the value this is actually a pretty good holster. The retention strap is actually pretty durable as well. So I have to say it, I had to give this a four-star rather than a five, only because of the optic situation (described above) and with the optic being so small on the sub-compact Hellcat, it should have been able to fit. So with a small alteration by the manufacturer, it would have gotten it five stars instead of four. (at the beginning of the review I mentioned pictures, however for some reason they would not upload). But take my word for it it's definitely worth the few dollars you'll pay to own it.

UPDATE: After four months of about one hour per day of usage, I have uncovered a serious safety flaw. One night, I heard a thud, and my revolver was laying on the pavement. Turns out the bottom of the holster had either come unglued or simply stretched out, allowing the gun to fall out. Not something you want to have happen in a grocery store! Depending on your weapon, it could also result in an accidental discharge. See photos of the problem and my "fix" which involves zip ties. Otherwise, the holster has really held up well. I thought the velcro would lose it's grip but it's going strong. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I can't get over how nice this holster is. I walk/run at night, and found pocket carrying my .39 Airweight annoying, as it banged on my leg. This holster not only hold the Airweight snugly, but it also hold my pants up without wearing a belt. I can walk briskly or run without the gun bothering me. Time will tell how well it holds up over time. I wear it over an old t-shirt and under a golf shirt, so that it doesn't chafe me or get ruined by sweat (Florida.) It doesn't print. You'd never know I'm carrying. In short, I love it!

I have to admit, I wasn't expecting too much from this, due to it being on the cheaper side, but I just needed something for occasional use, so I didn't want to spend a fortune. The velcro holds very strong & secure...no slipping. The belly band is the perfect width for comfort while wearing & bending. It never folded over on me, never shifted out of place, never even remotely sagged under the weight of my 9mm. The fit was perfect for me, and the pockets landed right where I needed them. Can't beat it for this price point!

Does not fit the claimed sizes, band length is 38 1/4" yet they claim it'll fit someone with a 51.2 inch belly. You will not be comfortable at all stretching this band 15 inches. The velcro portion is 2 inch wide and you'll need to stretch it that extra 2 inch + the 13 inch or more to ensure you don't have the velcro hooks digging into your skin. I am not this big but for the amount I had to stretch this band to hook it was no where near comfortable. Just because it can stretch that far doesn't mean it should. Very bad claims on the description of this product. Even stretching this 6-7 inches makes it very uncomfortable; 15 inches of stretch would be absolutely ridiculous. Also the band needs to washed ASAP, it has a very strong chemical smell to it. If you plan to put this band around anything much more than it's total length of 38 inch you'll likely regret the purchase, I'm returning this!

I like the concept, but these should be available in different sizes. Fits me tight. I keep it as a backup. I would have returned it, but I couldn't find the wrap it came in. I ordered a different one.
