This tuner worked great for my 2013 F-150 5.0. I’m running the performance 93 tune and it has really improved the power and takeoff of my truck. Features are kind of limited but for a cheaper tuner, it’s well worth the money.

I was going to return it, but decided to keep it. I typically use the fuel saver tune and the performance tune. Using it on a 2007 ford F150.

    • Minor help with Gas Mileage BUT Helped With Heavy Towing
My 2008 F-150 with the 4.6L was having trouble keeping up at highway speeds towing a 5000 lbs. boat with engine and trailer [along with stuff in truck and boat coming close to max towing on truck] (4000+ rpms to hold 65 to 70 mph) and this lowered it down to 3000 rpms using 91 octane fuel. I was thinking I'd have to trade the truck in to get something that could handle towing the boat or avoid the interstate freeways, but I can handle it with the Max Towing Setting. On the 87 Octane Mileage it helps out maybe 1 or 2 mpg for normal driving (not towing). I haven't tried the other settings. ... show more

Ref 2001 Dodge Ram 1500, 4x4, 5.2L Engine. Automatic transmission: I wish I could put in on a Dynameter. HP & torque increase is very noticeable, Improved shift points, Speedometer set to tire size, 11.5mpg increased to 12.8mpg

    • Product is great Amazon is NOT.
Amazon sent this unit with a vehicle already programmed on it which made it useless to me. If not for the great Customer service at Accel I would be returning the unit. It took over a week before I could actually use it and technically Accel is supposed to charge $100 to unlock the unit but waived it due to Amazon not doing their job. If you are looking to purchase an item like this I would not purchase from Amazon. ... show more
