I bought this AFM/DFM Disabler on a Saturday night, Amazon delivered Sunday morning ! I see a lot of on line groups of GM/GMC truck owners with unlimited budgets spending major cash on their vehicles, nearly all of them have the "best" mechanical knowledge available. I am NOT one of those people. lol I didn't even know what a disabler was a month ago but I have educated myself since then. I own a 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali with a 6.2 motor and it never felt like the shifting was perfectly right and I always thought that for a 6.2 motor it felt weak. I installed this Disabler in about 5 seconds and went out for a drive. All that I can say is OUTSTANDING ! The crappy shifting was gone, along with the sissy 4 cylinder crap !!! This plug and play Disabler brought out the power that my truck was had been missing. It's an entirely new truck and I love it ! Everything said and done for the first day, the install was simple, the price was perfect. The difference it's made is unbelievable ! Works perfectly in our 2023 Silverado! We won't have to worry about engine damage from the manufacturer's flaw that drops the engine to 4 cylinders when coasting or in cruise control mode. Chevy built these motors to save you a lot of gas, but over time, they cause damage to the motor, and it costs us over $2000 in repairs. But now, thanks to our mechanic who told me about this device, we won't have the same problem with the Silverado as we did with the 2017 Tahoe. They both have the same motor. Our Silverado doesn't have a 10-speed trans, so this AFM/DFM works on the 2023. I have a different DFM in the 2017 Tahoe. Do you research before buying anything else. ... show more
