Great bed, quick shipping and well packaged. The assembly was pretty easy, even with one person. When fully assembled it is very sturdy. The only surprise I had was when I put the mattress on it ( Nectar 12 inch hybrid queen). It came up quite high on the headboard, about half way up the second slat, not like the picture where all three slats are showing.     • Beautiful bed, but set up was not fun.

We bought the Emery king size bed in Chocolate. Upon arrival, box was pretty beat up, but the bed was packaged very well so nothing was damaged inside. Upon opening, it smelled very strongly of stain, but now that it’s set up and been up and out of the box for a full night, the smell is not as strong. There are slight nicks and light scratches in the wood, some probably during the manufacturing process as the stain looks to be applied over the marks, but overall nothing too major. Most of the marks are hidden either on the inside or by the mattress. All of the parts were there and the hardware pack also had extras in case. This is not a hard set up with two people, the only thing is that it was TEDIOUS to put together because some of the angles to screw in were tight. Why is there not an Allen wrench with a ball end included in this set?? Would have saved so much time. In the end, the bed frame was put together with pretty clear picture instructions (also to save some peeps the heartache… if—like me— you’re not the most careful person when putting furniture together, make sure piece 5 is affixed the correct way, with the two holes being closer to the top than the bottom). One other note is that the wooded slats are not sturdiest slats in the world. We have heard some slight cracking noises when too much weight is placed in one direct spot. (I am 185lbs and my boyfriend is about 220lbs). Hoping this will not be an issue down the road. Other than that, the bed is a beautiful color and we love the design. We were looking for a king size bed frame that looked good and didn't make any noise. I was nervous to spend a lot of money and not know what I was getting, but we finally settled on this. We've only had it a month so far, BUT - it was very simple to put together and went pretty quickly. - looks really good - at this time, it is sturdy AND quiet! It's a little lower to the ground than I expected, but not a deal breaker. We have be an 11 inch mattress and it's perfect. There's also not a lot of "head room" under the bed, which I prefer, so that's great. But it seems like there would still be space for underbed storage if you want it, and my kids still manage to belly crawl under it somehow 🥴🤣 There's no foot board, which I originally wanted and couldn't find, but it's okay. Wood looks great and easy to put to together, but it squeaks and creaks here and there. All screws are as tight as they can be. Box came super damaged, but wood was ok with only a very small damage spot. I would return due to noise, but pain to haul a king size bed to wholefoods. I wasn’t sure how much I was going to like this bed when I ordered it but I absolutely love it! If you are shopping for a solid wood, well made platform bed I recommend this one. The color goes very well with my current off white furniture.

The bed arrived as it is expected. It was well-packed and arrived in perfect condition. Very clear instruction manual and is easy to assemble with either one or two people. It is the perfect size for my standard queen-size mattress, leaving about an inch on each side. The product did arrive with a strong paint or varnish smell. I have to air it for about 2-3 days until the smell is not noticeable. Strongly recommend to people if you are sensitive to smell, air wooden components in an open space for a day or two or in a room with an air purifier to reduce the smell first. I am extremely happy with the sturdiness, and good quality wood for the bed. I will recommend this to other people. ... show more

I really thought this was going to be a flimsy cheap bed but this bed is literally amazing. 1 screw on the entire bed did strip but it’s on the middle board on the headboard so it doesn’t affect anything. My wife and I loveeeeee this bed. Only thing I would say is MAKE SOME MATCHING NIGHTSTANDS 9/10
