This humidity dome is AWESOME. I liked it so much I bought a second one a week later. A system that is expandable and can be accessorized with advanced controls, fans, ect... the only downside I've found is that AC infinity DOES NOT sell the height extenders separately. You must buy another unit to get them, which for me, this time worked out very well. I used the height extensions on my original dome and used to newer one for cuttings and propagation. They are working flawlessly for me. Quality products that im even considering getting 1 more. Then ill have a shorter propagation and cutting dome, a medium sized dome to put the cuttings in to grow, and a larger one to maintain and keep my nicest plants. ... show more

This is a great seed starter unit! It is very sturdy and easy to use. I already have tomatoes and hot pepper seedlings sprouting. The light timer and heat mat and controller make all the difference in the world. Highly recommended.

Definitely a sturdy piece of equipment made from a heavy plastic material, not like the typical flimsy humidity domes you'd find in hydro shops. It is a bit overpriced for what it is, but I guess you could consider it a buy it for life kind of investment. I usually love AC infinity quality but this one loses a star because of the electronics. For some reason, this model has an issues with the controller making a quiet, but there nonetheless, screeching sound. It's a little annoying. I thought it was a product defect, but exchanged it just for it to have the same issues. The lights themselves are strong and I find myself not needing to go higher than 10-20% intensity for smaller clones. I'm very happy with the product, nonetheless. ... show more

I am growing cacti from seeds. Seedlings and seeds are responding really well to the humidity and warmth in the box. I want at least 1 more... BUT, I think the heat pad is a little weak. I wish the heat was controllable via my 69pro+. I will get another one soon and probably use the lights elsewhere as the rack i have these on already has 16" ionbeams. AC needs to start selling the lights ala carte because I have 4 of the little controllers already and tons of extra wires, but that's another story. This kit should have a port for a thermal probe too, maybe 3, top, end and side. Right now I have it through a vent which compromises humidity even though i taped the vent closed. If you have strong lights maybe look at some cheaper alternatives. I'll probably just get generic 1020 trays and domes after a pair of these... It will hurt less to drill a hole in those... ... show more
