I have an 18x10 shed that has a storage area on one side and a built in workshop on the other. It was getting very hot in the summer. Luckily, the shed had gable vents on each side, so I cut out one of them and installed the vent in the opening. I wired everything and it worked like a charm. The controller/thermostat was confusing to set up but the phone app and Bluetooth are fantastic. I could set up all the settings from the app and the interface was very intuitive. So. I actually set up the temp and humidity settings for the fan to automatically come on directly from the app-super easy. And the fan is relatively quiet and adjusts speed as needed. Yes, you can hear it running, but it isn’t a nuisance and considering how much cooler my shed is, I don’t really even notice! In fact, when I was showing off the shed to my brother in law, he couldn’t believe how the shed wasn’t that hot, and then I showed him the fan! This fan is amazing. Bought it for the purpose of clearing the air out of my garage. I smoke and it does exactly what I needed. Clears 450 sq ft of space in 3 minutes or less. I cut a hole in my upper garage door panel and installed it and it’s not too heavy and does a great job. I have had this fan over 4 years and have had zero problems. Sometimes running it 24 hours a day for several days at a time. It’s gonna make noise. It’s a fan. It has ten settings and is loud in my opinion after setting 5. It’s worth the noise to do whatnot does. It will also reduce the temperature by a few degrees as well as the humidity by as much as 5-6 degrees. I have a more modern garage as a note but if you seal up around the doors and insulate the doors you’ll have great results. You’ll thank me later. ... show more

A LOT of Bang for the Buck with this purchase. Well built, high tech, expandable, great product support. I fabricated a housing for the fan and louvers and mounted it on the door to my crawl space. The AP has a little learning curve but has a ton of functionality.

I purchased this for a greenhouse project my wife wanted. The greenhouse is a 10 ft x 12ft x 7ft heavy plastic dome type with a wooden front and the back is attached to the siding of the house. My wife installed a vapor barrier made of bubble wrap approximately 6" - 10" away from both clear sides and the top. This dropped the interior area down very close to the rated 630 cfm airflow for the 10" fan. Although the fan controller seems to work very nicely in mid-range temps -but when it is upwards of 80+ deg F with direct sun she is having issues keeping the temperature and humidity where she would like them to be. I wish I would have gone with the 12" or 14" series and it would most likely be just right for the application. I'll probably try to go with one of the larger ones for the main exhaust and install the smaller 10" one as a push fan through a basement window which can be opened up into the greenhouse. The listing says the controller is capable of operating two fans so that may resolve the issue. Overall I'm impressed with the product. It appears well-built and the bluetooth app controller is very responsive and accurate which is a great feature. My advice would be to calculate your overall area and purchase one for a 30% or so larger CFM capacity rating than the area you're working with. ADDITIONAL NOTE: If any sales reps for AC Infinity would like to help me with a discounted fan-only deal (no controller) on the larger fan purchase it would be welcomed and appreciated. ... show more

I'll agree with other reviews. I've had one of these running in my crawlspace for 2 months now, and so far the quality seems to be matching the price point and I've really appreciated the features. I've been wrestling with crawlspace humidity concerns, and the programmable nature of this fan is quite helpful, along with the on-screen programming and even more the bluetooth interface. I didn't think I'd use that, but to be honest, it's simply easier to use for setup, configuration and reconfiguration. Furthermore, the charts for temp, humidity and fan status have been excellent for understanding the interactions between the fan and the environment. this has become as much a tool for me to use for problem-solving as it has a fan. As others have said, it's quiet until you get to the top third of its range, and then it still seems quiet for the amount of air it moves. mine is very well balanced, doesn't rattle, and just moves air. the blades look like the cheap metal blades found on anything else, but however they formed and balanced them seems to have more care/workmanship than the other offerings out there. ... show more

Cools the coop off by 15 to 20 degrees. 92 degrees outside and the coop was 79 degrees inside! So much more comfortable for the girls and us. Very quiet! Delivery was quick and well packed. The installation was as expected.
