Needed this for indoor gardenias. Box arrived in mint condition. Items packaged securely and in an organized manner. I own 4 rolling shelves units. This is actually a very good quality build. Very sturdy! Now, I only installed 2 shelves because my gardenias are fairly larger. This is great, because now I have stored 3 extra racks and 3 extra lights in case I need them. The racks support them well. It's about 15 to 20 pounds per pot, 3 pots on each shelf. The instructions are simple. I assembled it in no time. The cover is clear. As it is assembled, the wrinkles are coming out of the cover and it is becoming like a window, fairly easy to see through so I can still look out the window behind it. The cover is easy to put on with slow care. I draped it over the front, bunching the excess up on top. Then, went to the back and slowly pulled it down and over. Fit well, quality cover! I needed this because gardenias love moisture. This cover is a must for indoor gardenias in Northern climates. Also, the cover comes down to the floor, so it will hold heat in the winter from the lights. The shelf liners are great too. They will prevent upward drafts from the floor in the winter. I ordered longer cords for my lights since I am only using 2 shelves, the distance between the lights is a little longe than the provided wires, but no biggie there. The arch is decorative on top, providing a really gorgeous look compared to a plain 4 pole rack. I actually never saw an arched greenhouse unit on Amazon. Makes it more unique and sought after. The arch also provides a smooth surface for the cover, so it won't have too much pressure on the traditional sharp corners of other square shelves. This unit with the cover also provides and holds more moisture instead of having my humidifier constantly going for them. My humidifier can make breathing a little tough. Constantly refilling the humidifier is a little tedious. This makes a controlled environment. I know my Nature's Good Guys mites and nematodes will be happier! I accidentally chipped some paint in tiny spots, but touched it up with a couple brush strokes from a pint of high gloss black paint I had laying around. Totally blended in! I will always come back to this company for future greenhouses... judging by the quality of the unit, that might be a bit! 😉 Oh, and customer service was super polite!

This is my fourth product from here. The shelves are so easy to put together that I put the first three together by myself ( I'm an older woman) this one hubby was home for. First I love that it comes with the mats for each shelf!!! Some do, some don't. For the ones that don't shelf liner works too! The lights were just too simple to put up. I tried to make it harder than it had to be! But truly they are just that simple! This unit is a great size! As soon as I put on the plastic, which fit just fine , even a little loose! I put my moisture meter in there and zipped her up! As I stood there sure enough the humidity started climbing immediately!!!! I was so excited! I think I get too excited over my plants haha but seriously if you buy any shelves for plants I definitely recommend that they come from here. The lights don't get so hot that they burn you or your plants but put out enough light for our babies. Also the tent is a must for winter months no matter where you live! And you can roll up the door making sure they get plants of airflow! I have almost 200 plants and this unit is a must!!! Definitely recommend!!!! Seller is fantastic! Had a question and they actually answered on a weekend! Great customer service!!!! Must buy!!!

I needed a rack with wheels so I can follow the sun in my southern facing window and put my plants out of harms way in the evening and when my kids are around. This is absolutely perfect. The shelves are sturdy and stable. The instructions were helpful and well written (even if there were some spacing issues - read around the typos!) I appreciated the note that "it's not a design flaw" or whatever that the clips don't close completely. That gave me confidence in setting up the rack. I was able to assemble by myself in about 15 minutes. I used a small rubber mallet as suggested to help knock the shelves into place. I found it helpful to set the lower shelf completely, then put the clips and shelves on for the remaining shelves but not press them into place at first. Then I was able to adjust the heights once I could see the entirety of the unit. After adjusting accordingly, then I knocked them into place and all was stable and secure. Another tip - when I opened my box there were some small plastic circle things that were broken right on top. I thought, oh no, it broke in shipment! I was wrong - they're part of the packaging to keep the shelves separated during transit. It's ok. Don't freak if you see this. I want to note especially the wheels on this rack. They are SUBSTANTIAL. You're going to be able to hold some serious weight on the rack before the wheels give out (the shelves might go, but the wheels are good). This is a huge plus in my book because, as I stated above, I'm rolling this thing around daily while loaded with plants. I want to deduct 1/2 star from my rating, though, for 2 small things - 1. some of the poles of mine were a little scratched, as if someone assembled with a wrench and then disassembled the rack. It's possible it was a return and that's actually what happened. It still worked well for me, but it's a little sad to have the nice black finish chewed up in places. 2. one of my shelves is slightly bent upon receipt. I'm going to reach out to the company and see if they can do anything for me. It's still useable, but there is a slight lift in one spot that might make a cardboard or peat pot fall over if a plant isn't perfectly balanced. Overall, if I had the decision to make again, I would ABSOLUTELY 100% buy this rack again. I don't plan to put it outside so I think the PVC cover will last a long time. It's sturdy, fits all my plants and then some... it's just what I needed.
