  • Beware the Enormous Return Shipping Cost If Something Is Wrong
Second Update, March 13, 2022, to My Original January 24, 2022 Review. Second Updated Rating: Five Stars. A couple of weeks ago, I was astonished to receive a new yard cart free from the seller. I had been notified by email that they intended to do this, but because such a thing is so unusual, I was not sure if it actually would happen---but it did. The seller handsomely apologized for all the trouble and said they were trying to ensure that their customer was pleased with the cart and with them. This one was without any defect in tire or bearing, and all things considered now deserves five stars, which I now have awarded. All that remains to be done is for the seller to improve its communication in English to match the quality of the cart. Also, I would not be expecting anyone with a difficulty to be receiving a free cart or a refund without a return of it. I have left my first updated review and the original review so that a reader can follow the progression of circumstances. (Note: This updated review was delayed because of distraction from COVID among some family members. Otherwise, it would have been posted right after I received this new cart.) First Update, February 3, 2022, to My Original January 24, 2022 Review. First Updated Rating: Three Stars. (1) I was utterly astonished when the seller volunteered the other day to refund the amount of the entire purchase, including sales tax. True to its word, I just received an email from my credit card company saying that the amount had been credited as of yesterday. This may have been due at least as much to the communication problems (see original review) as to anything else, but whatever the reason(s), this was a considerable act of good faith by the seller. What the seller has done leads to the second items here. (2) Given what the seller has done here, I am revising my overall rating to three stars from the original one star. And now, the original review, which you can amend further as seems appropriate based upon what I have just added: Original January 24, 2002, Review. Original Rating: One Star. After about 15 years of use, all four pneumatic tires on my good and faithful old yard wagon, which I used all the time year-round, began disintegrating. The cost of replacing them was not cost-effective, given that the wagon, while still functional, was in a well worn condition. So, I ordered the new yard wagon from Amazon two weeks ago after looking through a whole bunch of the listings and of course checking Lowe's, Home Depot, etc. (in-store wagons were more expensive for about the same level of quality). It arrived on Friday. For the record, I see that today the price they now charge has gone up $13 since I bought it, so, with Texas sales tax, this cart would now cost me $153.70, whereas I paid $139.63 on January 17. I immediately opened the box and inspected the whole thing carefully. I found one tire with a gauge in the sidewall (see photo and look about 12 o'clock) and another wheel with a rough-rolling (that is, defective) bearing. The language on the product page says, "Return policy: Eligible for return, refund, or replacement." Sadly, I did not pay attention to the absence of the word "free" in front of "return," probably because I never have ordered anything in years of many Amazon orders, large and small, that did not have free returns available. Shame on me. The cheapest return shipping cost to get a refund is USPS, which, given the size and weight involved, is $89.25. (UPS, $85.43; FedEx Ground, $97.93; Consolidated Freight, astronomical; DHL, astronomical plus; etc.) This is what I get for my lapse in attention. Who would pay $89 to return a $140 item? Not me. I offered it on our neighborhood email net as-is for the approximate difference between what I paid and the shipping cost, or $50. I had a taker in 15 minutes. As long as the wagon is not overloaded, the sidewall of the defective tire shouldn't blow out, and when the defective wheel bearing goes out, I can help the neighbor replace it with a bushing, which in my experience, actually is better that a cheap bearing in an application such as this. Probably I'll be helping him with four bushing installations before very long. (I traded out the bearings for bushings 15 years ago in my old wagon's wheels.) So, I've recouped $50 of my $140, which is better than nothing, but this no-free-return is not the only reason for the one-star rating. Communication with the company is as difficult as anything I have ever experienced in many instances of trading emails with operations based in an exotic east Asian realm. Several exchanges concerning proper product delivery resulted in my being as confused and unsure of what was going on as I was before I started the process. This yard wagon may very well work fine . . . but it may not. A product exists within the larger context of whoever makes and controls it. Roll the dice and take a chance if you wish, but be prepared to absorb a substantial loss if something is wrong. ... show more

  • Does what is needed.
I use this yard wagon to move bags of mulch, topsoil, and garden soil, as well as landscape pavers and plants. It works well for these purposes. The time to assemble was about 30 minutes, including time to redo a missed washer or two. There are no actual assembly instructions - just an exploded diagram of parts. My suggestion - assemble the base, axles, and wheels then add the sides. Note: Based on my experience with my first wagon of this type, I did coat all bolts and nuts with silicon grease and substituted a nylon washer at the handle pivot point (as my retiring wagon's pivot point had frozen in one position due to rust). ... show more

  • Makes it easy to get yardwork done!
The media could not be loaded. Since the pandemic started my husband and I have been enhancing out curb appeal. Gardening is hard! We have a large backyard that we are working on. It will rain days on end where we live, so this makes the ground too soft to haul items with the truck. We needed a sturdy wagon to get through the yard. This utility wagon is amazing! It handles really well. It was easy to assemble and does a good job holding items upright. It has removable sides for wider items needing moved through out the yard. My kids love playing on it too. The wagon holds up to 560 pounds. The utility wagon comes with an air pump for the tires. The wagon is fold-able and easy to store. It is made of metal and the green color is easy on the eyes. I can haul wood, plants, boxes, and more. It is made of an anti rust material and is heavy duty. The wagon is 37x19.48x40.15 and weighs 37.2 pounds. The tires are perfect for outdoor use. Very durable, which is perfect for the outdoors. Overall, we are very happy with the utility wagon. It has made our outdoor renovation much easier. The price is great too! ... show more

  • Reasonably priced garden cart wagon, solid enough & with removable sides!
The media could not be loaded. My wife & I wanted something like this wagon for garden use or to carry toys when we go to the neighborhood park with kids. Gives a great convenience factor in the home to carry many items together or heavy ones too. We are satisfied with the quality for the price & I would recommend this product. My 2 cents below : Pros: - Decent solid and well-finished wagon - Incredible build quality. It has a premium look - It has good dimensions to accommodate most of the needs - Has load capacity of 560 lbs and that suffices my needs - Body is coated with some rust-free material so should last long outdoor - All the sides are removable since they are attached with 2 clips only, and hence give the flexibility to use it as per the load needs - Wheels are big (10") and they make the wagon to easy to control via the handle - Handle length is good enough and tall enough to easily navigate the wagon. The handle does come with a soft rubber/foam material to grab on it - Comes well packed and nothing was broken - They do bundle an air pump in the package, not the premium one but does the job - Reasonably priced product Cons: - It comes with a just 1-page leaflet for the assembly instructions and that is useless. It was a little overwhelming at first to figure out the parts but I was able to assemble them shortly. I wish the manufacturer included detailed instructions in the package ... show more

  • easy to use and assemble
The media could not be loaded. Very simple to assemble, and a breeze to use. With the help of this cart, I am able to clear the branches from my quarter-acre plot of undeveloped property and bring them to a pile for burning. I can load the cart up with rocks and dispense of them at the rock pile as far as the rocks are concerned. The sides that drop down make unloading simple. ... show more
