  • Great idea but poorly executed
Color: weight 130-200 lbs
I was very excited to test this out. And while it's a great idea in theory it's not well put together. PROS * easy to assemble * very sturdy * provides a good level of tension and resistance CONS * MADE FOR TALL PEOPLE - the entire machine is made for someone 5ft 11in or taller. As someone who is 5'3" in order to have my back properly on the back part I have to push my butt so far back that I'm half off the seat. And if I put my bottom properly on the seat I am in a very bad position for my back, as if I'm sliding off. This would be better if you could adjust the position of the seat to accommodate the short person. * HANDLES - are incredibly poorly designed. They are cloth and so far away that again, a short person cannot use them properly. I had to put my hands at the back of the seat which worked out find since I was half off to keep my back properly planted on the back rest. If the handles were welded on and about 2 inches to the back they would be in a better position and provide actual support * TENSION - while the resistance is great it's only present when you're pushing back but there is nothing when you're coming back up. The springs provide little resistance when you rise up. This would be much better if the tension stayed both up and down. But you cannot adjust it to make it easier or harder. It's just one level of resistance. * With nothing to keep the machine in place when you push back the machine does back also sliding you all over the floor. I tried having my feet on the ground but again, as this is designed for a tall person, when I did that I was not properly seated and did not have enough weight on the seat to keep it from moving backwards on me. The only way I could stop that was to scoot all the way back, have half my bottom hanging off, have my hands on the back of the seat and then put my feet at the end of the seat. Then I was pushing the seat down hard enough to keep it in one place. It stays more on carpet but then you're ruining your carpet with the wheels running back and forth. This really needs giant suction cuts to hold it in place on the floor. Although it's likely that if it was designed to adjust to the height of the user it may prove stationary when trying to do sit ups. Overall I give this 2 stars because it is relatively well made and, as I said, a great idea. However, it loses 3 stars for poor design and lack of consideration for shorter statures, no ability to change resistance, over priced at $75, and difficulty in using as it should because of the many design flaws. ... show more

  • Nice but could be better
Color: weight 130-200 lbs
I was so excited to get this, I need low impact workout and need to work on my abs. The item was easy to take out the box and use, not much lore to to than that. The item upon first looks is very sturdy and has a nice bright red color. The first thing I noticed that I didn’t like was the little bitty wheels. Next was the padding, more on the slim side. Other than that it was easy to use and was very flexible for me. It does forcus in abs. I’m in the maker side but someone that is large in size it may not give the needed support. ... show more

  • Helps Me Stay Consistent With My Workouts
Color: weight 130-200 lbs
I like that this ab machine keeps me from having to lay all the way back on the floor, which really helps when my lower back starts acting up. It gives just enough support to make sit ups easier without putting pressure where it shouldn’t. It’s not going to build a six pack on its own, but it’s great for beginners or anyone getting back into a workout routine. The foam padding feels nice on my back, and it’s light enough to move or store without any trouble. Overall, it’s a good piece of equipment for gentle core workouts and days when I just need a little extra support to stay consistent. ... show more

  • Avoid injuries and just say no
Color: weight 130-200 lbs
Lievim Ab Machine Easy to assemble. Compact but not sure about durability as you can see in one of my photos, they reinforced the pully system with what looks like a glob of silicon glue. That is the part that adds the resistance to the back. I just see a lack of stability to that part and potential danger when it pops honestly. The material is cheap. The seat pad is so thin you may as well sit directly on a wooden board. There's no carrying strap or latch to hold the folded "machine" together unless you take one of the useless seat handles off (attached with velcro) and relocate it to the "headrest" The HEADREST at full extension comes to the middle of my neck. Not a headrest at all. The rollers are useless cause the angle of the headrest keeps you from even touching them. They're really uncomfortable so probably a good thing. There's no adjusting resistance. It is what it is and it's not very good. Won't recommend this ... show more

  • Broke on the first try 😪
Color: weight 130-200 lbs
I was so excited to try this!!! The instructions for assembly were pretty easy and direct, and in about 15m or so, I had my fully assembled ab machine. The instructions were extremely clear on being careful with the resistance springs assembly (the part that stretches out and keeps both parts of the machine together as you press back). And I heeded this, making sure not to apply too much force or try and twist them the wrong way. So. It’s set up. Everything feels secure. And I have a go at it!! On my very first push back, one of the resistance springs popped at the connection site, and I hit the ground. Granted….the ground wasn’t far away haha but the loud pop scared the crap out of me. I reinstalled the spring (it was always just one, the same one) a few times, but just as I got into the full push back, it would pop again. Looking at the connector, it looks like it may have cracked open, or just isn’t fully secured to handle the force when at full resistance. I took a photo and shared it of the space/gap that I think is causing the spring to break loose. I honestly don’t know if it arrived to me like this, or if it happened after that first pop. Either way, the machine isn’t really usable at this point. I tried putting normal workout resistance bands to replace the springs, but they don’t stay stable enough to do a workout. Definitely bummed about the whole thing. And for the price, I expected a sturdier piece of workout machinery. ... show more

  • Poor design.
Color: weight 130-200 lbs
Was really excited for this, but the quality is just not there. Easy assembly but that’s where it ends. Poor design. It works, but not very efficiently. Overpriced for the quality in my opinion. You’d be better off spending a little more and getting something of higher quality.
