I hope this review helps someone looking for a quality paper cutter. I had almost given up finding one after reading the horrible review on the other ones out there. I need it to cut watercolor paper (thick) and thought it would be easy to find one. Not! This is so nice. It has INCHES marked clearly on it, A magnetic paper guide. It cuts straight and even. Everything about it shows quality construction. I’m so glad to have found this, I cut thirty sheets of watercolor paper in half yesterday in no time. This thing is great except I notice it cuts a little off sometimes and if I’m cutting multiple sheets it will on cut half of them straight. Cutting one sheet at a time and very slowly seems the best way to get accurate results. It’s a bit of inconvenience when trying to cut multiple sheets.

This was filed under "Junk". It is lightweight, but that is a bad thing. blade is just a piece of flat steel, no hardened steel blade. Really just a piece of junk.. Spend more and pick one up at your local office supply store that you can see and feel before you buy! Returned after 2 cuts.

Ar first I thought it was just a learning curve. The more I used this cutter the more I noticed the measurements are off. This is not accurate if you need exact measurements. Does the job for casual trimming. Would not buy again though.

I liked the easy setup, and the magnetic bar to hold the papers in place. I also liked the price. Where I live, paper cutters that size are much higher. I've only used it a few times now, but, my daughter really loves it. She's constantly cutting paper with scissors into smaller sizes to make notes on that are easier to carry in her wallet. ... show more
