It has been a while since doing a RAM upgrade so it did not know what to expect. What I really liked was the packaging. It is a sturdy container that kept the RAM secure. One of the things I really liked is that the container was sealed so it showed there was no tampering. Removing the RAM from the container was a bit of a pain but came out nicely when I realized the stick had to be tilted out. After removing the old sticks, the old sticks fit snugly in the container. The new sticks dropped in and fit perfectly. First thing I did was pull up 7 Days To Die, checked the ram usage and there was ~8 GB still free, the FPS did pick up, I have to push the video up next, but am pleasantly surprised how much of an improvement in game play. I did look at other companies and could have purchased them cheaper but this product seems to have a really good rating so I would rather pay the extra and know it is a good product anyhow.

Bought these chips to help speed up an old Gateway SX2851 desktop computer. When it upgraded from Win7 to Win10, it slowed down to an unacceptable level. These chips increased the memory and essentially FIXED this old computer and brought it back into the usability zone. The cost/value is excellent. Highly recommend this product.

I had a neighbor who was throwing out an old computer an eMachines EL 1352g-01w . They had had it for the past 8 years and even left a review on Internet forums about how it was the worst computer ever. I asked them if I could have it as I like to do tinker projects and could make use of it. They agreed to give it to me as it was "broken" anyway and to do whatever I wanted to it. It was actually very easy to repair only requiring replacing the CMOS battery and replace the broken HDD with an SSD & doing a fresh install of a new OS. After that I wanted to see if I could make it any snappier and the service and repair manual said this was the highest RAM that the desktop would accept. After replacing the original 2GB RAM Module with this 2 x 2 GB module. It was a simple plug and play replacement. The system ran great without any trouble or issues.

This my second time I ordered these 2x4gb ram sticks for my Dell Inspiron 580 bought the first 2 about 11 months ago and they have been working great so I had a little extra money and went to my orders and hit buy again and received them in record time. Was kinda disappointed though that these ones look completely different and don't match the first 2 I got at all, different color completely different chip layout but they seem to be working fine. Overall I would recommend these as some good budget ram for an older pc but if you want them to match buy them all at once lol

I had a 4 Gb RAM module go bad in my desktop computer and replaced it with an A-TECH module. Easy install and now I'm back up to 16 Gb's of RAM. I did replace the other module in that same channel with an A-TECH module. All is good and speeding along.
