It was like one lace was waxed and the other wasn't and they were obviously two different shades of purple. It was a bit disappointing but maybe not something that could have been easy to avoid. These laces are 100% the bomb. They were laced up on my Mission Inhaler WM03’s and they work really well. I just wished they came with yellow laces. These stay nice and tight which is nice and seem to hold up well. Would buy again!

I’ve had my fair share of wax laces in my day and these are absolutely candle-dipped, sprayed, dried, misted with hot wax, then sits in a wax room with his waxy friends. Then before packaging, they spray more wax on it. Then more wax again and then it’s a lace. Leaves wax on your hands for a good good while. Good laces overall..... I like the width of them. And they have a tacky waxiness to them that makes it easy for them to hold their place when I am lacing up. My only complaint is about the color. I was expecting a bold, lemon yellow. The pair I got is definitely more of a softer pastel color.
