This was installed on a 1997 2.2L Camry. The part is semiflexable and is not thin. It has substance to it. All the openings aligned properly. The only difficulty I had was the plastic tube was too wide for the small hose that connects valve cover This plastic tube easily comes off the air intake hose. The tube has a lip on the end and I ground this off smooth and used silicone grease. I then was able to push the plastic tube into the small hose, and then replace the tube back in the air intake hose. This air intake hose is a very good value and does not appear to be cheaply made. It is made in China.

I have a 97 Camry and that air intake hose had worn out. I went to every Auto part store and it was over price for that year car. I decided to try Amazon and Lord have mercy I found it. This was the exact same part and it was easy to install. I will be shopping from this supplier again.

An Excellent Price for the quality fit and finish.. I just purchased this 99 2.2 4cyl Toyota Camry with 117k miles on it. While doing routine maintenance on the engine, the old dried out and brittle Air Flow Meter Boot tore at the throttle-body and caused a bad vacuumed leak which I fixed temporarily with tape.. This Air Flow Meter Boot was an exact fit that I easily installed within 10 minutes using only a flathead screwdriver and a 10mm socket and wrench.. I would highly recommend this product for purchase as an inexpensive exact fit replacement..

Was as described, fits perfect. Overall quality is excellent. This fit into place in seconds with a couple turns of a screwdriver. My old part was falling to pieces, this improved overall performance of my car like having a new car again.

My car developed the ol' sticky gas pedal and I read that you can fix it yourself by cleaning out the inside of the throttle body and throttle plate. Well, the old air intake hose was cracked along the clamp, so it needed to be replaced. Bought this and it's a perfect fit for a 1998 Camry. The bottom coupling was a little difficult to squeeze on, but we eventually got it on there. Been driving for 2 months and no sticky pedal and no problems with the hose. EDIT: pic is of the OLD cracked hose; not the new one I ordered.
