Solid wood shelves, sturdy, looks great, easy to assemble But note that the sturdiness of it comes solely from screws connected to the shelves. Make sure you have these aligned well before tightening fully. I wouldn't recommend pushing it to the side, regardless. A good addition to this would be having some kind of horizontal support. Also note that the bottom of the book shelf is adjustable at each of the four corners, so you can twist to correct any wobbling. ... show more

Six weeks later I’m downgrading this to one star. Wood has been airing out this whole time and still stinks too much to be in the same room with it. Although the shelves are solid wood they are the cheapest softwood available. They are coated with something that smells is bad I can’t be in the same room with it. The metal and hardware seem great. I’m goi f to air out the boards to see if they off has enough to be around. If not, I’ll need to find new boards for shelves. ... show more
