The dealer wanted a ridiculous amount to replace this engine filter in my Ford Fusion which took me less than 10 minutes to replace. Other than the extra pre-filter, it looks identical to the original Motorcraft it replaced. While the pre-filter makes it a little deeper, there's plenty of room for it in the filter housing, so it had no affect on the overall fit. The only thing I found odd was the listing states that this filter should be replaced every 12 months or 12,000 miles while the owners manual said it should be replaced every 30,000 miles. Although between the low price and ease of replacing this filter, doing so more often isn't really that big of a deal. ... show more

I wanted to change the two filters in my smoke filled car. I did. It wasn't expensive. Helped somewhat, although the smell still there. I wish I could get rid of that terrible smell.
