The filter was a one piece like the Mopar brand one I replaced. You have to crush the filter a little to insert it. The JKs had two half size filters. IMO Jeep should have kept that style but this filter faithfully reproduced the factory item and appears to work well.

Perfect fit in my 2022 Jeep Gladiator. The old original filter was full of sand from all the trails and camping we do in the desert. After replacing this filter the air felt like it has better flow and a fresh smell to it.

Don't let a shop tell you "Oh so and so filter is bad and we can do it for you" and let them charge you $120 for "labor". To access this filter in the 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL it is right behind the glove box department. Quadratec has a pretty good video on YouTube on how to do this. This filter fits in like OEM, very impressed.

Fits like it's supposed to. Be careful and pay attention to the arrow on the one you are removing and install this in the same direction. Looks OEM, fits like OEM, costs half of OEM.

So simple to replace and the price was a fraction of what the dealership wanted. It may have taken me 5 minutes to pull the old filter and install the new one. Already the Jeep smells better and there seems to be better air flow through the vents as well!
