I received the part 10 days later than what delivery date said but that is no fault of the seller or Amazon. But when I received the part and installed it and it does bolt right in to a 2009 Dodge ram 1500 5.7 liter engine. Those that say it doesn't are mistaken and there is something else going on there. It fits perfectly but the problem I had is that it arrived defective and will not generate electricity to recharge battery or run the vehicle electrical system. Hoping the seller will understand and allow a return and send me a new same part that is functioning properly. This is a great part but sometimes these things happen so anyone questioning as to wether they should buy this product yes you should I have purchased from them before and they have quality products. Thanks for your time everyone. Well seller in my view and opinion is worthless, even though the part was defective they will not even respond to any communication what so ever even if you wanted to exchange in a timely manner good luck getting a hold of anyone to do it. You will be forced to eat the cost of their defective part. They are a discrace to the rest of the automotive part dealers on Amazon. Anyone buying anything to do with the automotive electrical system should avoid this seller altogether. They should visit a more reliable trustworthy seller that is honorable when it comes to exchanges if parts because of defects or other reasons. Fits the 2012 Ram 1500 ST 5.7L, install was simple, used the video from 1Aauto. Its been about a day, so far so good. Ill update if anything changes Update March 11th, still running good.

Charges fine, installation was easy... down side my AM radio has a terrible HASH noise since installation. No other problems. Recommend for the price... it you like your "Talk Radio" I'd pass this up...

I seen a review saying it doesn’t fit a 2009 …. Well it does rather they got the wrong one sent or they don’t have a 5.7 .. but it does fit Only had it on the truck for a day so I’ll be back for a longer review after some months ..

I use this brand of parts all the time and this is the first time I’ve ever had an issue. Great parts and they last but my package showed up empty. Either the driver or the person that loaded the truck stole my package. Do not ship in manufacture packaging to save time or materials!
