I usually have bought my dog food at Tractor Supply. This is the brand I have always used because my Great Dane is pretty picky and well, she likes the brand, and it doesn’t make her sick. I usually get the green bag. (Sorry I don’t know what it’s called - we go by color - LOL). Anyhow, somedays my Dane has been slower to eat than others. They were out of our Dog Food at tractor supply, so I jumped on Amazon and found the same brand ….. but this color (again — sorry color is just the easy way for me to keep up with it) ……. Anyhow, She loves it…… and gobbles it up. She has a temperamental stomach, and this doesn’t bother her at all. Me and my Dane both recommend it. The price is nearly the same as it is a tractor supply ….. yet arrives at my front door. SWEET! ... show more

I have four pedigree pups, I given them about ever higher end brands over the years and Natural was $15 cheaper and came w a good review so i took a chance. If ur a animal lover u know price doesn’t always correlate with quality or dog preference. I’ve spent $2/lb on other brands and thought i was going to have to eat it. This Natural gets gobbled up every morning leaving each dog looking for more. I will be repurchasing this in a few weeks. Lastly, if u have multiple dogs like me, this food rations out well and will last me 6+ weeks, w two of the dogs 60+ lbs which get 3/4 lbs a day. ... show more

I have a 63 lb Labrador. She’s 7. Time to switch to a senior food. I also wanted Glucosamine for joint health. I don’t know that I would have changed foods (she was on Victor Super Premium Beef Meal & Rice) but there was a Salmonella recall on her food. I then began to research foods with the ingredients I felt necessary for my senior girl. I came across Diamond Naturals. I DID NOT want grain-free. I wanted natural ingredients & no soy, corn & a bunch of other fillers. The transition was easy. First 3 days. 2/3 old food, 1/3 Diamond Naturals. Everything’s going great, poops are fine. Days 4-6, 1/2 old food, 1/2 Diamond Naturals. All good, poops are normal. Day 7, all Diamond Naturals. It’s been about a week & 1/2 & so far everything is great. Fortunately she does not have any mobility issues so I cannot attest to any discernible benefits from the Glucosamine, but I’m certain it will prove beneficial in the long term. My recommendation is that Diamond Naturals is a quality kibble (if we are to accept their ingredient analysis) that my Lab found easily digestible after the proper introduction.     • My boys are puppies again!

First off, I love Diamond dog food, I've been feeding it to my boys since thier early days. I did a ton of research and Diamond kibble is some of the best out there. I have 1 hound mix whose about 50 lbs and 10 years old. His little brother is a 80 lb hound/german Shepard mix and is about to turn 9. They're both is good shape and health, but I've noticed sometimes thier joints hurt them or they get hurt with a limp (they still play). We decided to switch them to this (shhh) senior food only 1 bag ago, so they've been on it for at least a month. I refuse to call them old men, and the food looks like Cheerios; so we call it their "big boy cereal". Lol Back on topic, it was the best decision ever to switch them to this "big boy" food! They are seriously running around and playing with the energy of puppies! My 10 year old is feeling really good! He's chasing his own tail again, jumping and sprinting. My 9 year old is playing ball and not running out of gas as fast. There have been no sore joints, no limping: just happy active boys with a new pep in their step!! They also LOVE it, no hesitation to eat it. Bottom line my "seniors" are truly better for eating this food!! If your dog is 7 or older, make the switch! Give it a month or two and I hope you see the beautiful changes as well!! Another win for Diamond Dog food!! ... show more

I love this dog food! My 8 year old lab mix was kinda going downhill over the course of a few months. She wouldn't get up for anything and when she did, she would limp slightly and you could hear popping noises. I could tell that she was having some joint issues and she's always been a tad overweight, so I thought it was time to find a senior dog food for her. This senior food is amazing! Within a week of transitioning her over, she changed completely back to her old self! Running and jumping around like she used to. I couldn't be more happy. Side note: quite a few reviews are mentioning extreme gut discomfort from switching to this food. Those reviews had made me hesitant to try it, but I did anyways. I transitioned the new food by 1/8 each time. So she was 1/8th cup of this, 7/8th cup of old food for 2 days. Then 1/4th of this and 3/4ths of old food for 2 days, and so on. She didn't experience any issues with the transition. I believe every dog is different, but i definitely think the food is worth trying. ... show more
