everything was fine melted candy isnt really an issue for me most of it wasnt melted only some and barely even. id give four stars for lack of variety in flavors. certain candy only had like one constant flavor when i wanted all types of popping candy or all types of pez etc most or half do have variety in flavor though. it didnt even come with a single toxic waste. that was a let down. lack of candy and variety was kinda depressing. 5 stars for good candy tho. none melted or open and melted together like other places. ... show more

Before buying the pack I saw some reviews saying there wasn’t a good variety but after ordering mine I got a decent mix of sour candys! All of them are enjoyable too even the little cherry ones I enjoyed. Definitely not a bad bag at all!

we were looking for something that truly had sour flavor. most of this bag was tasting like a regular candy, not the sour flavor.

not only was there a lot of different candies, there were some more obscure candies in this mix that i really loved. this was a spectacular mix that i would definitely buy again!

For $8/lb. you expect candy like this to be high quality. First - anything that can melt has melted into a sticky mess (warheads, the coating on the crybabies, etc.). Second - the toxic waste candy in the picture was not included. The much cheaper “sour balls” vintage penny candy has replaced them. Anyone who is familiar with these know that they will be disappointed as they are in no way comparable in quality yo the candy they replaced (despite being called “sour balls” they are not sour at all). Third - the variety is strangely lacking. The Now and Laters are only watermelon, even though they are made in cherry, apple and watermelon. The frooties are only cherry.
