  • Pleasantly suprised!
Pattern Name: box
As an American with a penchant for exploring new flavors and experiencing different cultures, the 40 Japanese Candy & Snack Box was an absolute treat for my taste buds. This box of delights brought a piece of Japan right to my doorstep, allowing me to indulge in a wide variety of unique and popular Japanese sweets. First and foremost, the selection of candies and snacks in this box was extensive and diverse. It was like embarking on a culinary adventure through Japan without leaving the comfort of my home. From classic favorites like Pocky and Kit Kat in intriguing flavors to lesser-known gems, every item in the box was a delightful surprise. The packaging of the box itself was charming, featuring vibrant and eye-catching designs that captured the essence of Japanese culture. Opening the box felt like unwrapping a gift, and the careful presentation of the treats inside only added to the overall experience. Now, let's talk about the flavors. Oh, the flavors! Japanese candy and snacks are known for their unique combinations and attention to detail, and this box did not disappoint. From the subtle sweetness of matcha-flavored treats to the delightful burst of umami in savory snacks, each bite was a journey of taste sensations. The quality of the ingredients was evident, with authentic flavors that transported me straight to the streets of Tokyo. What impressed me the most was the thoughtfulness that went into curating this box. It featured a balanced mix of sweet and savory treats, ensuring there was something for everyone. The inclusion of regional specialties and limited edition items added an extra element of excitement and exclusivity. Additionally, the box provided a helpful guide that identified each candy and snack, allowing me to learn about their origins and cultural significance. It added an educational aspect to the experience, making it more than just a simple indulgence. The quantity of items in the 40 Japanese Candy & Snack Box was generous, providing ample opportunity to share the joy with friends and family. It was a fantastic conversation starter and an excellent way to introduce others to the delightful world of Japanese confectionery. In conclusion, the 40 Japanese Candy & Snack Box is an absolute gem for anyone seeking a taste of Japan's diverse and fascinating candy and snack culture. With its wide variety of flavors, careful curation, and delightful presentation, it offers an immersive and enjoyable experience. Whether you're a seasoned fan of Japanese treats or just beginning to explore, this box is a must-have that will leave you craving for more. ... show more

  • Yummy!
Pattern Name: box
All the items were fresh and in perfect condition with no broken cookies, etc. It came in a cute box perfect for giftgiving, with a pamphlet describing what was inside, and all those items were in there with the exception of three but they put a disclaimer that said due to availability they may have to substitute and that was OK with me because they replaced them with something I thought was even better! I ordered the 40 count box and there were 42 in there. I loved all but four of them. My favorite were all the ones with high quality chocolate that is so much better than USA snack chocolate. It was the highlight of my day to reach into the box to try something different that I’ve never had before.! WELL WORTH THE MONEY!! 😛 * Mostly sweet treats. *If someone has allergies, they have a link on the pamphlet that you can click on to see the ingredients. * my only complaint is most of the snacks were tiny but snack bags are smaller in Asian countries than in the US and treats aren’t good for me anyway! If the treats were bigger, I would just end up eating more! * I read some reviews from past years where this company sent the treats in just a plastic bag! Since that wasn’t my case, I wonder if they read the reviews and now they are making sure the food is sent in boxes now. ... show more

  • Fun & Varied Candy Box—but Some Items Looked A Bit Old
Pattern Name: box
This candy box caught my eye with its wide variety and cheerful presentation—the snacks came nicely arranged, with a helpful explanation pamphlet inside. Unboxing it was genuinely fun and exciting. That said, I did have one concern: a few of the candies tasted a bit stale, which made me wonder about their freshness. Overall, it’s a delightful treat for when you’re in the mood to try a little mix of Japanese snacks, but maybe not the best pick if you’re looking for guaranteed fresh flavor. ... show more

  • This is the one to buy! No regrets at all.
Pattern Name: box
Best candy package ever. I've purchased a lot of these, and this is the best one. Presentation was nice, the treats are in a sealed nice box, you could wrap in paper for a gift or not. There was a good assortment of sweet, sour, crunchy, chewy treats, even a drink mix to make a drink, no doubles, only one fishy snack. The treats were easy to share and fun to look at. My two boys sat at the table for a couple of hours sharing and laughing and quiet talking. Usually, these kits are not that enjoyable, you may get a couple of good treats, there's always an argument on who gets that one small treat. And a lot of opened uneaten treats. ... show more

  • Good variety but not worth the cost!
Pattern Name: Gift Box
It was a good variety but not worth the cost. The photo appears as full size items when all but a few were extremly small trial sizes. Most of the pieces would fit inside of an easter egg for comparison of how small the pieces were. I used them for easter basket items and the kids had fun. Overall I would not order again. ... show more
