  • Tasty and not overly sweet
Pattern Name: box
Ok, these are really addicting and a nice treat. They are not super sweet but sweet enough for us. Probably the closest I will ever get to a crack addiction.

  • This is the one to buy! No regrets at all.
Pattern Name: box
Best candy package ever. I've purchased a lot of these, and this is the best one. Presentation was nice, the treats are in a sealed nice box, you could wrap in paper for a gift or not. There was a good assortment of sweet, sour, crunchy, chewy treats, even a drink mix to make a drink, no doubles, only one fishy snack. The treats were easy to share and fun to look at. My two boys sat at the table for a couple of hours sharing and laughing and quiet talking. Usually, these kits are not that enjoyable, you may get a couple of good treats, there's always an argument on who gets that one small treat. And a lot of opened uneaten treats. ... show more

  • Fun & Varied Candy Box—but Some Items Looked A Bit Old
Pattern Name: box
This candy box caught my eye with its wide variety and cheerful presentation—the snacks came nicely arranged, with a helpful explanation pamphlet inside. Unboxing it was genuinely fun and exciting. That said, I did have one concern: a few of the candies tasted a bit stale, which made me wonder about their freshness. Overall, it’s a delightful treat for when you’re in the mood to try a little mix of Japanese snacks, but maybe not the best pick if you’re looking for guaranteed fresh flavor. ... show more

  • Good variety but not worth the cost!
Pattern Name: Gift Box
It was a good variety but not worth the cost. The photo appears as full size items when all but a few were extremly small trial sizes. Most of the pieces would fit inside of an easter egg for comparison of how small the pieces were. I used them for easter basket items and the kids had fun. Overall I would not order again. ... show more

  • Smiles all around ☺️
Pattern Name: box
I had a few motivators to purchase this item for my six year old son. 1) A reward for not trying to get sent home from school early by making up excuses to see the nurse. 2) As a bonus while celebrating his kindergarten graduation. 3) To open up a discussion about about another culture in a fun way that easy for a child to relate to. All goals were not only met, but exceeded. Pros: •The presentation and box is very cute and attractive. •Complete list of names and descriptions in English made it much easier for my son to look forward to participating. •Lots of variety with sweet, salty, savory, sour, etc., kept us born interested. •The snacks were high quality and tasted absolutely delicious. •We enjoyed almost every option. The fried cod sticks were the only ones we couldn't, but our cats were more than happy to make sure they weren't wasted. •Snacks were the perfect sizes for both my son and I to try them. •While he tried each goodie I was able to share a different fun fact about Japanese culture. The tasty treats put him in such a good that he even asked follow-up questions! •Fun, creative, and educational activity to spend a little extra time with the kids. •By discussing the culture, people, and accomplishments of the country over something as simple and engaging as candy, I was able to negate some some very harsh, biased, and false statements that were recently shared with him in anger and ignorance. Cons: •Will make you want to buy more. •You'll develop new cravings for snacks that aren't avaliable at the nearest convenience store. •A fun, new way to fail your diet. •Would make for a terrible gift. It's so good you wouldn't want to give it away. Your only option would be to buy two so that you can gift one while also keeping one. Never mind....it would be the perfect gift so long as you got two....you know, for quality control. And the price is definitely reasonably enough to do so. ... show more
