First of all, the build quality and the ease of use are just excellent. The process of peeling an orange is just effortless. Unfortunately, that's where the good things stop. The orange peel produced is just too small in width. That makes the peel too fragile and will break as soon as you twist it in any way, which you'd want to do to make any meaningful garnish. I couldn't even put a cocktail pick through the peel without it breaking apart. I'm a big fan of a bar above and have most of my barware from them, but this is just a product executed poorly. It’s a good tool to garnish your citrus fruit. Wish it provided options to garnish various sizes/width. Maybe I have to get better at it? I also tried various fruits and it’s really good on citrus but difficult on softer fruits.

This is a good channel knife. The shape of the blade works well. It’s adequately sharp out of the box. The blade fits solidly into the handle and is easy to clean. It takes a little practice but it can cut nice zests.
