First of all, the design is fantastic. The purple color is vibrant and fun, and the soft grip handle is a dream to hold. I fought for way too long with my old vegetable peeler before buying this one, and the difference is night and day. The blade is SO SHARP, so definitely keep it away from little kids, but it peels so easily and beautifully. It fits well in my hand, too, and is comfortable to hold even when I'm peeling a lot of vegetables. I didn't realize when I bought it, but it comes in a two-pack, which was a nice surprise. It comes with a small plastic blade guard, which most people probably throw away, but I kept it and put it back on every time after washing and drying, figuring that will keep it sharp for longer.
