I am so glad I purchased this area rug! I wanted to wait a few months before leaving a review. I wasn’t sure what to expect but decided to give it a try since the price was fair and I needed to replace my older rug. Yes, it seems thin & I wasn’t sure if it would last but I gave it a try anyway. I really liked the idea of being able to wash this rug in the machine because I have 2 cats, one who was vomiting often. The anti slip backing works well, maybe too well. It took time to get the rug just where I wanted it because the anti slip backing really is anti slip/move but once I got it as I wanted it, it stays put! The rug itself is super soft to touch with a low pile which makes it easy to vacuum either with my regular vacuum or my robot vacuum. It’s also super easy to clean up small spills with a cloth. The colors are just as I thought they would be, just enough brightness and vibrancy. I did not notice a smell upon opening the package either. I am pleased with the rugs. I bought only 1 rug first because I wasn't sure if I like it with the price of the rug being cheaper then a lot of other rugs, but it is a great rug! I went back and bought 2 more for my kitchen. They are very soft, and that is one thing that sold me. It had some creases that needed to get worked out, but it does come folded up in plastic. The creases did get worked out. We had no problem vacuuming it on a vinyl floor. I do not know what it would be like on carpet.
