If you are wanting to ever lay on this rug and have, wood, tile, laminate it is very thin. It’s like a bedsheet you would put on the floor. If you are using this as purely decorative then it is very soft to walk on. As some of the other posts stated the folds from packaging still have not come out and it’s been a couple days. I did iron the rug, but the creases are still there. As for the 3D effect, it does appear the design pops out way more on the photos than in person. This rug does have a waterproof quality, I spilled liquid that was colored on the rug and it came right out with no cleaner. The rug is great for the price, it’s just not thick at all. Love this. Biggest downside is that it kept the wrinkles from folding for several months. It is lightweight enough to handle for one person, but heavy enough to vacuum well.

Really pretty rug, but it’s thin and hard to vacuum. Every time I try to vacuum, it gets sucked into the vacuum, and is sort of a pain. But aesthetically, it’s a beautiful rug and looks gorgeous under my bed.
